    Sard Injectors

Anybody know of anywhere in Melbourne that has them on the shelf? I am after one of the pale blue 700cc ones for an RB26. P/N: 63500 Just went to install the ones I got from Japan and one of them is the wrong type hadn't even noticed till now.
  2. ^ lol and wtf, how can you pay $1200 for a replacement cat, the entire exhaust wouldn't cost that much
  3. wow something I actually remember there's that and tmnt......how young do I feel right now.....
  4. If I ever get married so doing this as well. I'd be happy to help
  5. hmm suppose, it's still dodgey as in my opinion. kinda makes you wonder sometimes though about comp insuring modified cars and is it worth it, I mean if the insurance company turns around and says your car is illegally modified which lets face it pretty much changing a car in any way is illegal what can you do....coulda saved how much money over the last how many years only paying 3rd party....still I need to get me shannons insurance the whole lay-up cover thing, Awesome!
  6. f**k I dunno how to say what I wanna say I thought the insurance company was insuring you to drive the car regardless or weather or not the law says you can or can't. If you go through all the stuff to get insurance and they are happy to insure you driving a car they know full well is illegal for you to drive they can't exactly turn around at claim time and say were not gonna cover you....fair enough if you have illegally modified the car etc. wouldn't it be their responsibility to say no we can't insure you for that car as it's illegal for you to drive? Also I fail to see how the new laws change anything, 125kw/tonne pretty much ruled out everything the new laws do....there used to be plenty of p platers getting around in 33gtst's and crashing them and getting insurance payouts for them, it was illegal then it's illegal now, where's the difference?
  7. Put me down for one
  8. have you been drinking ash? cos that makes no sense Yeh 90 degree ones are easy to get, but not much room in the boot where I am mounting it, hence the need for more angle cos dun wanna kink the hose. Will prob just use rubber braided hose in the engine bay....smell is irrelevant and it's cheaper
  9. Does anybody know of a brand/company other than earls that make 120/180 degree teflon hose ends? been having some trouble getting hold of the earls ones not to mention the price I have been told I can use standard swivel seal hose ends with teflon hose but I ain't keen on it, seems kinda dodge to me......
  10. Can any of you tradery people get these, after these ones in particular: EAR-618136ERL EAR-612136ERL EAR-609236ERL 90, 120 and 180 degree adjustable aluminium ends....

    Avgas

There's a thread in the performance section I think called "backyard race fuel" I got the link somewhere if you can't find it, but losta interesting stuff in it. lol...cat... lol, have fun running diesel in a petrol engine and A1 is Kero so have fun running that too A1 does smell good though..... I think half the joy of running avgas is the smell I'd never put it in my skyline but a friend usees it in his SS all the time

    Avgas

I thought a tankful here and there didn't really effect anything??? Thought about/tried using a toluene mix? Also food for thought the military spec avgas, I can't remember it's name of the top of my head but it's 140octane, they use it in some of the warbirds and the caribu's etc. where to get it though I dunno.....
  13. all sounds like a bit over overkill to me, for what reason can't you use a normal air to oil cooler? Don't the RB26 engines already have an oil to water cooler as part of where the pressure sender/filter bolt up to the block. I do like the aluminium pipe for the fuel return line though
  14. I didn't notice a difference in height when I got them put in my car, even if they did make a difference it would only be a few mm anyway, hardly noticeable. From my understanding they stiffen up the rear subframe, so if anything it will increase wheelspin because the whole back end is more rigid, but because of this helps to eliminate axle tramp and also gives you a better feeling rear end cos it's all a bit stiffer

  22. I was once told that the "stages" in general can be described something like this: Stage 1: "not bad..." Stage 2: "scarey" Satge 3: "ahhh! f**k me were all going to die!" I don't think there is a actual classification for each and there could also be more than 3, normally sellers/shops/workshops just use them as a classification for the level of modification, ie, stage one basic mods to stage whatever heaps of mods....

  24. Nah was asking if they were the H's as the ones pictured above are just the S-tune suspension which are just a strut and spring and only worth about 1500 to begin with, where as the H is the coilover type which is worth a bit more....so wrong picture above I thinks....
