  1. Why? why not go 235/255 with good tyres, why would you get skinnier tyres when you go to a better tyre? ontop of the fact 225's on a a 9" rim look retarded. I've got 255's all round on my GTR with 17x9 rims. perfect fit, tyre lines up with the edge of the rim exactly.
  2. oh and I think somebody asked, time on the sards is 0.65msec
  3. Me too, me too Just got my 700cc Sards from nengun the other week, the pale blue ones. The are a 100% direct fit, no mods to the plug or anything (They do have denso printed on the side of them, just to add in some more complication for everyone ) Now just waiting to get my fuel rail back from creatd and find a suitable surge tank and i'll be well on my way. So much messing around and waiting and trying to work shit out I see how some of you guys feel building engines and whole cars and stuff at once, i'm having enough issues with just my fuel system!
  4. I am currentley looking at replacing the solid fuel lines in my car, one bigger lines, more fuel, the obvious. But also as everything else will be braided lines and screw on fittings it would be kinda nice to be able to screw these lines into the solid ones instead of using homo little adapters and clamps and stuff. Now I suppose my actual questions, how much power will the standard lines flow as opposed to say a -6 or -8 line? and how the hell do you get the lines in and out, is there a way to do it without dropping the entire rear cradle out?
  5. the 700cc sards are a direct fit.
  6. $15 for a o-ring f**k me, time to find some equivalent parts at work Nah I bought new sards and they didn't come with the orings or insulators.....
  7. what car / computer?
  8. Oil Pressure Sender RB26: 25070-30P01 (believe it's the same for all RB's) Also does anyone have the o-ring and insulator p/n's for top feed injectors?
  9. lol just been reading through the manual I have, forgot all about it, it is actually quite good :sorcerer: Most of the set-up's i've seen don't have one installed, well not anywhere visible anyway Also you wouldn't happen to have part numbers for the o-rings and insulators for the injectors and also the insulators for the fuel rail to block....
  10. Awesome sounds good to me I'm putting in a dual entry rail, braided lines, aeromotive reg, 044 etc. Do I still need one of these in the line or is it not really required, just one of those extra happy things factory cars have....? BTW it's not the fuel reg, fuel reg is located on the end of the fuel rail
  11. 15mm larger ROLLING DIAMETER. Thats 15mm larger than the largest diameter tyre specified by the vehicle manafacturer for that model or vehicle series (I believe this to mean if you have an GTST it goes by the wheel it came with not the GTR wheel for instance even though both R33's), this means 15mm larger when you measure diagonally across the wheel from one outer edge of the tyre to the outer edge of the tyre directly opposite it. Width, same deal but 25mm But lol if you ever get done for having wheels that are too big, normally you just get done if they protrude past the guards. Yes i did edit this...can also see the rules here: http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyre...8340/0/VSI8.pdf
  12. I should go through and see how many of these threads I have, must be a few by now. Anyway, whats this thinggo, it's in the fuel return line under the plenum.
  13. well considering i'm halfway through my fuel system may as well start looking at the next thing I wanna do which is an oil cooler and relocator kit. Looking at the nengun site the HKS Type S kits seem to be the basic ones and the Type R kits are the ones that come with the oil filter relocators and ducting but according to the HKS website only the Type S kits are avaliable for a 33GTR.......actually no there are type S kits that come with ducting as well omg so hard to understand. Can anyone clear this up? does the Type S kit for a 33GTR come with the ducting but not the filter relocator? Hmm can probably live with the filter still being down underneath, keeps it out of harms way I suppose and it's not that hard to change anyway, K&N hex head filters FTW!
  14. From cubes DOHC guide: Grind off the RB20/25/26 fins towards the back of the sump, the rb30 crank and rods have a longer throw and will foul. The RB30 sump has no clearance issues in the R32/33 Skylines. My car has the standard RB26 sump with a tomei sump baffle in it and no issues to date what so ever with oil pickup. Have included some random pics I have on my computer of a custom sump for an RB, I like the design of this one....

  16. lol, I though it was funny. lol, but it's funny cos your dumb.
  17. Got a carpet for my VS from them a couple of years ago and am very happy with it. you have to cut out all the holes for transmissions/seatbelts/chairs etc but no biggie. Fit was 95% good, the only bad fitting bit was down the passenger fwd side of the tranny tunnel, mould was slightly the wrong shape but again no biggie.
  18. Wagons may look gay but trust me, f**kin awesome, best ever young person car
  19. Thanks
  20. I see no picture of your car Justin.......
  21. yar welcome to the delima, i think the guard bolts are 5mm from memory, or maybe even smaller. The strut guy I talked to said exactly the same thing, for a GTR or a carbon bonnet smaller thread would be fine, but for a GTST your gonna need the bigger thread to cope with the pressure put on it......Just seeing if I can do it without having to drill and tap anything.....
  22. try Access Autoworks in vermont I think.
  23. been having a play last week or so, haven't been able to find balls (i dunno what you call them, ball one end threads the other end) that are the right size to screw straight into the panel holes, they only seem to come in 1 size round here and that size is too big. ie hole needs to be retapped. bent up some brackets the other night at work but left them there grrr. will get them next week and weld some cut off balls on and see if they fit
  24. Yeh I bought one for my commodore ages ago, it's in my cupboard, you want it? I could bend it with my hands....so appart from looking pretty it does absolutley nothing for stiffening the chassis
