  1. Anybody know if a S2 steering wheel will fit on a S1 car???? not particually fond of my stock S1 wheel and the momo race wheel in there at the moment I find a tad small. Though like the S2 wheels, if they fit a leather re-trimmed one of those I reckon would be nice.
  2. Good luck fitting that in your car.....
  3. This topic comes up so often. Unless you are in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong cop I doubt you will ever get a fine for driving a high powered vehicle. If your driving a ferrari or something similar then you have a problems. I have friends that get pulled over on a weekley basis for everything from speeding to burnouts to racing and not one of them has ever got a powertoweight fine.....even if you do get one 100bucks big woop there are much worse things you can get like canary's or the hoon leglislation thrown at you . Even if you do get a fine for it you have to get like 3 of them before they actually start to do something about it. Just drive it sensibly, enjoy it and you won't have a problem.
  4. canada...states....same place
  5. Hmmm yeah agreed, thats nice. How much they going for on yahoo auctions?
  6. There the ones pffft doubtful, I just think they look sexy! and it's all about the sexy
  7. In the market for some new strut bars for the GTR, I keep on seeing refrences that the nismo ones for the GTR's are titanium but can't seem to find any picks of them for the 33. Looking for something similar to the Z-tune one but for a 33GTR. Anybody got any pics of the nismo titanium one for the 33GTR?
  8. I reckon this car looks nice as, the guy who owns it is on these forums but he's in the states can't remember the username though but he would be able to give you more info about the paint job.
  9. Try asking about swat in the jap section, I remember seeing someone in there with their name in their sig, they may know a little more about them.
  10. I rememebr seeing a website somewhere that had tests that showed flow rates and how small a particle they filtered down to can't remember the address of it now although the apexi ones came out streets above the rest. I use an apexi one in my commodore and have never had a problem with it. Will be changing over to apexi ones in the skyline as soon as I can get my adapters modified to fit. IMO there by far the best.
  11. That was my problem, I bought one that was supposed to be fitted to the car but was way to small, the dude in the shop when i took it back said it's probally for standard ones not gtr's. Mine fits over the top of the car very very well and you just tuck the extra length at the front under the bar.
  12. Why not just give me free tiffany jewelry regardless of what I do
  13. Dunno 100% though it's a pic from a folder on my comp called R33 Parts list. Somewhere to start though. Where's the speed sender located i'll find the pic with that in it too
  14. hmmm sounds like it comes down to basically gay reasons. So a car has to undergo actual crash testing there before it can be able to be imported? How gay.... Can you import them for track use etc? p.s. sorry to hijack your thread
  15. I've always heard that but never been able to find out why? I know there are some running around on your streets but they are few and far between. What is the actual reason you can't import them and how have those few got around that?
  16. Everything's illegal in victoria, if it isn't they won't like it anyway and will find something else to ping you on instead.....Just need to be discrete about it
  17. I think from memory I got a xl or an xxl, it wasn't one of the main ones was only for like 3 cars or something from memory. But I needed the extra length to go over the spoiler and under the front bar of my car. The one that they recommend for the skyline couple was way way to small. get either the next size up or 2 sizes up, whatever they have.
  18. I have one of the autotechnica stormguard covers, the ones that come in the red box. Excellent cover, fleecy lined inside so it doesn't scratch the paintwork and fully waterproof. Excellent for when the car has to sleep outside. http://www.autotecnica.com.au/content/Catalogue/accs2.jpg
  19. Just a note to remember the police are much more relaxed in qld so these sort of mods aren't so much of a problem there on a street car. If you are going to have a surge tank and external pump on a street car in vic make sure it is well hidden and use teflon braided hoses so the smell of fuel isn't evident in the boot.
  20. From my understanding of it all: The r32 had a slightly different system to the 33 and 34 which i think were the same???(not exactly sure about the), dunnno the exact differences but you can pull the fuse in the 32 and they will run in rwd you can't with the others. What do you mean by trim levels? The 32 had hydraulicly operated hicas where as 33 and 34 had electrically operated, most people tend to lock this out anyway for a more predictable rear end on the track. The vspec's had the active lsd, the normals had a loosley setup mechanical one. The vspec's atessa system is also slightly faster and more aggressive somewhere in the region of a reaction time of 1/1000th of a sec instead of the normal 1/100th on non vspec models.
  21. thought a coolers a cooler, no specific flow direction?
  22. Ahh good, I thought I was going stupid or something for a moment there
  23. Picture, why don't people do custom set-ups like that?
  24. Just fit the 044 into the tank, there's a tutorial on how to do it in a 32 gtr on here in the diy section. If you decide to upgrade later go the surge tank and a couple of externally mounted 044's or something more beef I don't think a single 044 is enough to warrant a surge tank and external mounting. I am pretty confident in saying the lines can handle the higher flow rate. As to the filter, what are the standard ones, i can't remember, have a look around and see what their flow rates are. I would be interested in this if you do find a figure If they don't flow enough just get a aftermarket one and put fitting on it to fit the standard lines and mount in standard location.....can't see there being any probs with that. a good aftermarket one is only about 200 buks and 20bucks for fittings
