Just came across some cheap thats all. But sound like to much hassel.

Has anyone fitted Q45 airflow meters to a gtr with factory plumbing. Can it be done? I know Z32s will stretch over the original rubber piping but I don't think Q45s will? If you know they don't what did you use to get them to fit. I want to keep the original air box look ( it has exstensive modifing underneath) so it all looks standard and legal. Thanks in advance. oh, what about the wiring plug ? ( have a PFC so just have to wire up?) any diagrams out there?

Yep, i have one on my R33 GTR 326rwkw no problem I have an inlet temp gauge plumbed after the intercooler and my inlet temp even on the dyno with 25psi is 40degrees max, on the street it is normal to read just over the days temp. Awsome for the price

Good point. It is the Northbound BP to meet up with the cruise as it goes past. thats where i will be anyway.

Hi all, I think this is a very good topic if people can give some input. Do you know the amount of total timing you are running at full boost and what power you are making? eg : R33 GTR 18psi / 20degress timing. 270rwkw. I am triing to work out if I drop some timing and run more boost. I am also trying to work out where some of these huge power figures are coming from? I have raced a few big hp cars ( over 300rwkw with proof) and still have the faster car. ( I don't have any torque figures). Theory says more timing the better and the sign of a well built motor is being able to run heaps of timing. I have seen plenty of cars on dyno's run a big figure once then every other run get's lower and lower as heat soaks in, showing they are really at the edge. I know all my temps - exhaust,inlet, water,oil, - hardly break a sweat at my current tune after 6 back to back power runs. Maybe Im not pushing it hard enough? Or is this just a case of dyno reading wars. What do you think? Please, lets get some constructive info going.

its really not worth the risk these days, Ive been thru the no cat days. Always worring about getting done over. Technology is better every day. A good FULL STAINLESS 3-3.5 inch cat will flow big HP. and its legal. Unless your making big power over 400RWKW your loss is very small if anything at all. Thats my 2cents

Does anyone know or have tried to use an R33 GTR rear vspec diff with out the active pump hooked up. Does it operate just as an lsd, or is it the active pump that makes it lsd ? For example if you want to try and use this diff in another car, will it work as an lsd if you dont have the hydralic line hooked up, that normally gos in the bottom of the housing. Does anyone know exactly how this diff actually works? I think the basics are hydalic pressure is used to give better traction left or right when there is wheel spin. Maybe someone has some tech info? Help Please

Hope this isn't just rehashing old topics. Can anyone give clear diffrences between the R33 GTR series 1, 2 and 3. Other than the airbags. I think its much more?
