  1. So how do you figure you lucked out? Lol . Looks like you got everything you need apart from the harness. And you don't even really need the harness if you can use and know how to read a multimeter. You can splice it in if you need to.
  2. Did you get the a/c panel with the facia? Best way to wire in the aftermarket head unit is to buy a ISO-nissan plug n play harness. They are about $15 on eBay. Or even easier if you can get a harness nissan to "the brand of head unit" you have.
  3. Hi everyone, it appears i have an intermitant problem with the screen in my m35. sometimes it wont come on, even if i put the screen down and back up again.... but then in the middle of a drive it will just randomly turn on at any stage. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems and know of the cause. i do want to get the english conversion done on it, but it a waste of time unless i can fix this problem. Thanks Justin.
  4. Cool I will save myself $200 then, Mine is the double din unit with the a/c integrated circuit board. I had to purchase the new facia and a/c panel cost me about $300 still waiting on it to arrive. Apparently the way to tell a Bose system from the standard One is "bose" is on the cassette door. I went with a double din unit that has sat nav, DVD, iPod input, blue tooth, rear cam input all the bells and whistles but in saying that its a middle of the range China import. But works great and does everything I need it to do. I will post a pic after i install it all. Just waiting on the facia.
  5. on series 1 m35 with the double din 6 stack cd tape, does anyone know why you need the specific bose intergration harness? i gave my new head unit a test fit today just using a cheap $15 iso to nissan harness and it worked fine with no issues at all and it sounded like the amp and speakers still worked as normal. so my qestion is why have i read threads that say i need the specific nissan/bose intergration harness for $220??????? thanks. your input is much appreciated.
  6. i like it but i still think nothing can beat the original m35 autech axis front end look.
  7. I will be waiting anxiously for firm details.
  8. "tunehouse" that's the place I was thinking about. But gee that's a lot for a tune. And knowing how much I tinker I will prob need my car tuned at least 2-3 times before I'm happy. More info on adaptronic? Cost? When? Where?
  9. Scotty, all I mean buy that statement is I can get a harness if I need one. Not make one. And yes I would rather go with a more common, readily available and easier to tune ecu. I don't want on going headaches.
  10. I'm not set on the hks for sure... I have to check the price of the actual unit out first. The harness is no problem for me, I can get that sorted.
  11. What do the harness's normally go for? If there is a group buy and it worth it, ill be in.
  12. I can do pretty much most of the work myself, besides tuning of course.
  13. Hi Scotty, I here someone in Sydney can tune them... Bds or something, can't remember exactly. Anyway I plan on keeping this car for at least the next 5-6 years some want to pretty much do exhaust, fmi intake ect, boost controller, injectors, ecu, big brakes, basically everything besides internals. My previous r34 had the works done to it. Everything besides internals and I loved the way it went and the power. 338 kws @ wheels. It was fun to drive. I want similar power but a "under the radar" car.
  14. What is adaptronics?
  15. Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has put a hks f-con into there m35 vq25det? Any thoughts on the matter? Thanks Justin.

  17. You still have to splice into the harness at the reverse light for the camera power and at the shifter for the reverse trigger switch. There is a sender and receiver, so you don't have to run the wires through the length of the car..... Check them out... Heaps on eBay. Reason for me wanting to go with wireless is-it seem really difficult to run wires through the tail/hatch door. All the skins and top half are bonded together with what looks like urethane. Thanks Justin.
  18. Just wondering if any of you guys on here have them? How good they are? general thoughts on them. Thinking of putting one on my m35.
  19. In the original reflector there is 2 holes for the low beam and another hole for the high beam (someone correct me if I'm wrong please) and I am assuming you had to drill a single hole in the middle of the reflector for the bi-projector. So I'm wondering if you can see the original holes in the reflector? I can do this conversion easy. I've done it before on my bike cbr1000rr. I put bi-xenon projectors with white halo and red demon eyes. With Audi style LEDs at the bottom.
  20. G35= ugly! Yahoo auctions japan= easy to get but with freight and dealer commission ect.... Ends up being way expensive for the panels.
  21. Nokonzok.... Very nice conversion. Just one question, can you see the original globe holes in the reflector after the projector is fitted? I'm thinking of doing something similar as it would cost too much to change to series2 hlights especially with all the extra panels required. Thanks Justin.
  22. Head light conversion to right hand traffic???? Please explain in more detail.
  23. Ok. Thanks. I won't bother then. I was tempted to buy some from yahoo auctions. I will mod the series 1 headlights instead.
  24. just curious to see if anyone know if the M35 series 2 headlights will fit in the series 1? has anyone tried this? im thinking of getting a set from the later m35 and mod the internals such as put different projector, halos and demon eyes in (and maybe audi style LEDS) and installing them into my 02 model. Thanks for your input. Justin
