I agree. It's very nice, although I don't like the wheels. I gave him what I thought was a very reasonable offer (considering the location and on road costs once I got it home), but he refused. I would have paid the asking price if it was bayside blue.

Hi guys, I'm after a r34 gtr or v spec. Been looking for around 3 months. Finding it hard to get a nice clean one in Sydney with genuine kms and no accident history. Everyone seems to dream and want top dollar for a rough one... Will travel interstate IF the price is right. But need lots of pics before hand. I will also get a comprehensive check done and well as Japanese history check, so if you know your Speedo has been altered or it has accident damage, please be honest with me so we dont waste each others time. So..... We agreed on a price, went to take one last look at it and pay a deposit. Only I found more damage. Driverside floor panel that flows into the guard has been replace and seems sealed using polyurethaned and its obvious. D/guard obviously replaced and resprayed. small damage behind strut. Then I also found p/side headlight mounts broken. So it looks like it may have had full frontend damage. Then I asked for the auction sheet. It shows 79565kms car currently shows 79400..... Something is definitely dodgy here. I'm steering clear. And feel sorry for who ever buys it.

I'm a diesel mechanic by trade so I know what to look for. And I've owned an r33 r34 and a Stagea befoe. Mechanically the car is fine. Other then little tell tail signs there may have been accident damage to drivers side front. I've been looking at gtrs for around 2 months and this one seem a little pricey..... Compared to what they actually sell for...... Some v-specs go for anywhere between $40k for one nodded with 150000kms - $55 for an immaculate low kms. So I'm just trying to gauge if the price is right.

I'm not sure, but It is listed as a series 2, of that makes a difference to the trim. I have just paid US$75 to get the Japanese history on it but that could take up to 10 days.

It's not a v-spec 2. It just has the bonnet. It's a stock gtr.

Hi guys, As topic title says, What would you consider a fair price for this r34 gtr? Assuming the kms are genuine. Sold with auction papers but no de-rego papers. I've had a look over it and looks like the drivers side front may have been in a bingle. Drivers side front wheel doesn't match the condition of the other 3 wheels. Yeah I knew it would at least fetch a decent price (they always skyrocket at the last minute when you put no reserve on ebay). It ended up only $600 off my lowest negotiation price. So not too bad. I just needed it gone cause I need the room. I wish my wife wanted to keep it instead of her Honda euro.

Dave, I think the guy that bought mine may have looked at your as well as he said something about "looked at one that had a stock exhaust put back on and sold the exhaust separately......" I ended up putting it on eBay 0.99 cent starting bid with no reserve. I was Lucky I got a fair price.

Sold my Stagea today. A little sad to see it go. Wish the new owner all the best. I'm sure he will be a member in here soon.

i found it very hard to get good pics of them while lit up!!! the pictures just dont do them justice. you have to see them in person to appreciate.

Thanks mate. There actually brighter than my top middle brake light (it has tint film on it though. What you can't pick up in the photos is the globe flashing behind the blinker LEDs. I left the globe in so i didn't have to put in line resistors in or mess with the flasher unit. For each time they flash and glow behind the LED card the LEDs scroll through six rows 2 rows at a time, plus you see the globe flash behind the card. So i think its more than enough. Time will tell.

Finished. Top half done in plastidip. I would like to see them painted to match the color of the car eventually. Also paint around the reverse/fog silver as well. And tint the lower half. But seeing as the car should get sold this weekend I guess that all won't happen. I didn't realise how hard it is to take pics of LEDs lit up!

Thanks to the people that have paid. Your gauge holders have been sent. I do have one here with slight imperfection, will sell for a discounted price of $50. Includes postage. It will just need to have a couple of extra coats of primer filler.

I'm particularly after opinions on there WHOLE car importing service. Not the parts service. I too have used them for parts and the service was good. Of course you pay a premium! It's a business. They need to make money. Anyway......opinions on the CAR IMPORTING service please people.

Put the lens' back on tonight using acrifix 192 to bond it back together using UV light to set it off. Then I will fill the small seam with silicone.
