How much?

Yeah i just decided to go with the stock airbox and really cant notice the difference. Its a bit slower off the mark but only by a fraction. My pod was leaking shit all over my engine bay anyway which was causing my car to idle really rough and stall at low rpm. Got the wires replaced and the car tuned and its running smoother than ever. Definately don't feel the Pod is that much better that its worth copping a defect over. Just gonna put a K&N panel filter or something inside the box to get a bit more air and i should be right

I have been defected for a pod and was told to remove it but i have nothing to replace it with. I can't seem to locate a stock airbox anywhere an Sydney and can't exactly drive around with no filter at all. But i have read somewhere that at least one air intake mod is allowed....so does that mean i could leave the pod on? I have also bought a UAS airbox to cover it but i assume that covering it won't pass the defect as the pod is still there... advice is urgently required..thanks

Who's your engineer? I kinda need to get it done pretty soon. I got 5 days to pay up!! How much am I looking at spending? Sounds like it shouldn't be too much of a hassle though. Of course not:devil: But it was mods that were defected not my driving otherwise he would've done me for speeding as well... I don't think I've ever seen anyone drive the speed limit up there anyway. Its easily above 10cm. Well an truly so if its not too low and too loud then it sounds like he's being a knob Can I get stuff engineered anywhere or only at places recognised by the RTA?

Like many I've become a victim of the recent flood of defects which I seem to be reading about. Got done on the Old Pac by an extremely pissed off Highway Patrol. You shoulda seen him. He drove past my mates and was abusing them telling to get the @#$% off the road and calling them all sorts of names. Then pulled up behind me and pulled me over. I thought he was gonna hit me. He was sooooo angry!! He spent like 20 mins going over every inch of my car looking for everything he could possibly do me for. Ended up getting me for Blow off, Pod filter, No H pattern on the gear knob and my muffler was too big???? Now I understand about the POD and Blow off and accept it but whats the deal with a muffler thats too big?? I asked whether it was cos it was too loud because my exhaust is really pretty bloody loud. But he was like "Nah the exhaust aint really loud but its too big!" My question is whether this is actually defectable (exhaust too big). Will I have to get a smaller muffler?? Cos i would assume it doesnt matter how big it is but how loud! Any advice on this whole situation would be appreciated. Unfortunately I'm sure it won't be the last time I'll be whinging about defects!!

Do u know what shops are selling these copies? I'm not really fussed whether the kits are genuine or not. In fact considering the price I'd probably prefer a non genuine item.

I'm looking for a front bar and have taken a liking to the Top Secret R33 front bar. I've looked at most of the well known bodyshops and they don't seem to sell them? I am just wondering if anyone knows of a place that sells them? Doesnt necessarily have to be in Sydney (assuming they can do mail order). I really have to get this front bar.

Yeah they are coilovers...how do I go about loosening/tightening it all?

I've got fully adjustable aftermarket suspension on my car and am assuming this means I can adjust the ride height? (I know nothing about any of this). If this is so how can I go about lowering my car a bit more? Is it something I can do myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic? If someone knows how to do this and could give me a run down of the process that would be great. I would really appreciate any information.

Want to sell my rims. They are white 17x8 Racing Sparco rims. They are in reasonable condition. left rear wheel has gutter scrape around the edge but apart from that they ain't too bad. Just need a good clean. Tyres are also good condition Just trying to see if there's any interest and if its worthwhile selling em... contact me if interested.
