Random stab In the dark (I'm thinking of RB30 stuff here) but does the auto take a vac signal from the back of the manifold.. next to where the brake booster hose goes? Remove hose and block the nipple and see what happens?

Looked through my parts pile the other day, found a 90amp alternator that definitely came off a stock S1 R33 GTST. So I bolted it up to my engine

I was told Autos are 20deg at idle, manuals are 15deg....

Hi All, I have 2 RB26 top ends - I've just been offered a complete built RB26 and all my existing plans are going out the window and I dont need these anymore! First one: Has been completely serviced, valves reseated, guides replaced, faced etc - bill was over 1k - work done by Applied Automotive Has HKS step 1 256 cams and valve clearances have been shimmed to suit. No valve springs or retainers or locks. (think I do have a box of stock springs somewhere though) Complete inlet manifold/plenum No covers $1600 Second: Recently bought from this forum Had been disassembled for inspection, but everything is there Head, valves, springs, retainers, buckets etc, inlet manifold/plenum, stock exhaust manifolds, stock cams, cam gears, other random odds and ends $1000 Also chromed Rb26 fuel rail with 550cc denso injectors which would need a good clean before use. injectors have surface rust on the metal body - $200

Bought from kyp welshpool- low km 1995 R33 series 2 engine. Had it in one of my VL's running max 10psi with standard turbo, ecu and injectors. Head cleaned up recently - replaced valve springs with 'performance springs', new nissan valve stem seals, head skimmed, new exhaust manifold studs. Work done by 'Performance Modifications' in Osborne Park. Ready for tomei poncams which I didnt get around to buying yet! Comes with stock cams. Lots of money spent on New genuine Nissan parts - cam seals, cam tunnel half moons, cam cover seals, front and rear main seals, inlet manifold gaskets, head gasket, coolant hoses, turbo copper washers etc. Genuine nissan timing belt and idler/tensioner bearings. New gmb water pump. Ready to run with stock coil packs, injectors and turbo im after $2500ono Can supply an R33 engine loom and ecu that I got from KYP with this engine but haven't used it myself. Also have alternator, powersteering pump and prob an R33 aircon compressor too. Have R33 engine mounts available. Options- Deatschwerks 550cc injectors only seen dyno time $600 -R34 OP6 hiflow turbo built by per4manz in Welshpool, very little use and no shaft play great condition $700 (Theres currently no injectors or turbo turbo fitted at the moment.) Also have Xtreme h/d cushion button clutch with flywheel has done approx 5000km half of which were behind a non turbo RB30. Possibly might have an RB25DET gearbox I can sell too. Prefer not to sell the extras before the engine as I can always use them later. I have a few more parts such as 1993 Rb25det short motor which was running fine before a mate pinched the head and oil pump for a twin cam 30 build. 2x RB26 heads with manifolds -one freshly rebuilt with hks 256 cams- the other is stock but disassembled. hello, I know this thread is a bit of a blast from the past (but it shows I've used the search button!) Are the shifters interchangeable without any problems? I have an R33 Box in a VL with an R33 Nismo shifter which sits fine, but if I go to an R34 box (for pull clutch setup) will the R33 shifter still sit in ok? Cheers

Yeah I just got the head off mine this week. The front vct is 1.5mm and the other 2 are 1.2mm Motor is a S2 RB25DET from a 95 R33. So should I just put in 2x 1mm? -
