Firstly, YES I'VE SEARCHED!!!!!!! - results arent really helping me! I've got a S2 RB25DET with approx 40k on the clock. Running stock boost, 3" exhaust, near new Yellow Jacket coil packs, BCPR6ES plugs gapped to 0.8 Was running fine until yesterday around 4500~5000 rpm its hesitant with a noticeable misfire almost all the way up to redline. Sometimes it does it, sometimes not. I put in new spark plugs, checked/changed AFM, checked all vac lines for leaks etc etc and couldnt find anything. All wiring looks ok too. Any suggestions???

have you already got a microtech and loom for it? Mate of mine has one ready to go....

my 'china coils' were on my doorstep before I even got out of bed this morning, in the car before breakfast and its running sweet now

JPC = no Autoworx = rang them the other day, they need to order more stock KYP = only has std 2nd hand coils - KYP is where I bought the motor, only just recently got it running after dropping it into my Calais, dunno if they'd just swap a set over! I decided to tape mine up for now and ordered some Yellow Jackets.. Cheers

Hello, I have been searching about this problem, but I want to know if anyone one else has suggestions...... I've got a S2 RB25DET with about 20k on the clock in a VL Calais. When its still reasonably cool it will rev easily all the way to ~6000rpm But when its hot it struggles badly - eg cant even overtake a truck on the HWY My boost guage is still showing ~7psi while its struggling to rev Stock boost with brand new spark plugs gapped to .8 Would this be the coil packs failing etc or something else? I've checked all other intake/vac hoses. Has 2 new fuel pumps. Tried out another set of S2 coil packs I have at home and the same thing - but I dont know if the spare set was any good either though... Any suggestions/help/please? Cheers

If you want to be an even cheaper bastard find one from an R31 or an N/A VL. Basicly identical to the R32 box but they dont have dual syncros

Gday, just wondering wheres the best place to look for decent priced gasket kits for RB25s - just after basicly top end kit - manifolds, throttle body, turbo gaskets etc, dont need head gasket though. Do ACL make a kit like this or do I have to pay $300 odd for a kit from Nissan? Cheers

i drive a commodore/calais and i have no idea what you're on about... i reacon the turbo cars vs ford/holden arguements are just rediculous. ive seen so many of the arguements and they all get no where. example: say we look at people under 25 driving either an import or a commodore... id say the percentage of tools driving either is the same... its just that theres more commodores than imports and thats why you may see more commodore drivers being tools ps i laughed when i read this.....

yer commodore drivers could say much the same about skyline drivers being morons when they drive people will hoon and do stupid shit like that no matter wat they're driving.... its just that commodores are commonwhores and are pretty cheap to buy.. you see just as much shit with people in falcons
