Hi SAU, Man some low life badged my car I am so pissed off, but its kind of my fault I shouldn’t have parked my car in Bankstown im an idiot. Anyways wondering if you guys can help me out im looking to buy the badge but have no idea where to get it from or what it even looks like I cant remember I took a photo of the other side, this might be a stupid question but is it the exact same badge on the right hand side of the car? They took the left hand side badge my car is a R33 GTS – T 1997 model m spec. Thanks in advance. Babylon

Last night i got pulled over, I 5hit myself because I was speeding and he could have defected me for my modifications on the car. Cop “ Mate are you in a hurry?” babylon“ Hi Sir how are you 2nite?” Cop “I had to go passed a few cars to catch up with you” Babylon “ I wasn’t speeding sir I promise” Cop “ Is this your car?” Babylon “Yes” Cop “I know it’s a nice car and they go fast but you need to take it easy” Babylon “Officer I know I was giving it a bit but I was always watching my speed I didn’t go past 60” Cop “Have you been drinking ?” Babylon “NO Cop “ is there any problems with your licence or Car, What’s your address? Where are you heading to?” I answered all his questions I was very polite. He did the breath test . He told his partner that he thought that im ok I haven’t been drinking. He said “ look mate im not hassling you but you need to slow down” We started to talk about the world cup and talk about skylines and then he let me go. Its funny because my cousin lost his licence the other day and I was telling him how I never get caught speeding. Man was I lucky. My precision of cops changed tonight. From now on im not going to speed on public roads i want to start taking my car to the track!

All I can say is each case is different, take it to someone who knows about skylines to look at the issue. A lot of people looked at my car "so called brake specialists" told me I need 4 new discs I didn’t like the sound of that so I took it to bel and the only problem was that I didn’t have shim pads. Had nothing to do with the discs, pads, or the calipers. I haven’t been down cowpasture rd for over 3 months only have been using it the last 3 weeks watching the world cup at marconi. And I don’t run other skylines lol RESPECT. So chances are it wasn’t me.

I know I have said this in the past but so far ive been driving the car for 2 days and not one little bit of noise heard from the brakes. Well done to the boys at Bel garage hopefully they just won themselves a life time customer

Hey boys i took the car to bel's the other day regarding this on and off issue. So weird the guys at bel took my pads out and straight away the guy said what’s causing the noise is the fact that i don’t have "shin pads" never seen it before in my life he said he cant understand why they are not there. It would explain why the noise is coming from all wheels because none of the wheels have this. Just a quick question if anyone knows how much they cost?

And will i feel the difference? as in car runs smothered etc etc ? how much are the bosch fuel pumps?

dude we have the same kind of mods only difference is i have a stock Fuel pump and im running 176kw at the wheels! 2 stupid questions Does a fuel pump make that much difference in the numbers? And is a fuel pump easy to install? Cheers and thanks for the post i had my exhaust done at CRD and i was happy with the work.

Thanks guys that’s exactly what i assumed i told my uncle that im down grading my brakes by doing that i just needed a confirmation.... im in Sydney West.. im just going to take the car to another Brake place someone that is actually willing to put time into the problem (any recommendations?) Beer Baron that’s exactly what i think The reason i ask guys is that my Break Squeaking issue has come up again.. and ive taken the car to 2 brake\clutch specialist http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=73439&hl= 1st has advised that i need to replace my discs but cant guarantee the noise will go away and to be honest I don’t want to spend $800 on a issue that “may solve the problem”. 2nd has advised Slotted Discs will not solve the issue. Noise might get even worse. My uncle the mechanic who is helping me with this has different opinions he believes its the callipers that are causing this issue he wants to see if I can get different system to the standard one Basically im trying to prove him wrong.

oh i c so techincally its a 2 piece caliper can i get brakes for R3 GTST with 2 pistons?
