ive just had a bad experince with a pannel beater too i mean ive taken it back so many times and cant get it right If there was a thread dedicated for these types of issues that would be great i mean i could had some sort of warning it is freedom of speech but the question is , is it legal to judge a company and let others know !!!!

Hey Guys I was wondering are we allowed or is it legal to have a thread dedicated to bad experiences with panel beaters, Mechanics ,Alarm installers etc I just think it would be a good idea to put the company name , location and a brief description of what happen with the company So when someone is getting something done to their car they can check the thread to stay clear from companies people have PERSONALLY had a bad experience with any feed would be good on this issue!!!!

yeah thanks well thats the thing when im driving normally its all fine just when im on high rev's like exiting the highway dropping from 5th to 4th is really the issue but seems like its a common thing with these cars (judging from the feed)

The guy who put my system in put them right on the corner of my doors looks nice very clean look he did some cutting (triming) if i ever sell the car i just have to put some cheap ones in there

Hey Guys Im having Issues with my Skyline , when im in high rev's and i put my car from 3rd to 4th gear it crunches or from 5th to 4th so basically my 4th gear is rooted. Anyways i need a honest mechanic that does repairs on gear boxes Western Suburbs area would be convenient. If anyone knows of a mechanic it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward their details Thanks :Oops:

Ok good and bad news Good news is theres a Engineer @ hornsby that does the certificate for the rims for only $140 how ever he said its a catch 22 he cant do it 100% because they have to meet the RTA requirements as discussed before. website is http://www.mobilityengineering.com.au

I rang them the other day again just to clarify , he said the $550 is for the whole car to get engineered, im trying to get a hold of a few engineers so i can get a good quote just to get rims engineered e.g getting that placard or a certificate. I found out my car got complied in Gold Coast wonder if it makes a difference getting cars complied in different States. Maybe that’s why my placard isn’t that same as the one posted in previous thread. but anyway once i get more info ill let you know!

bad news guys if you want that placard you need to organise with Advan getting a engineer certificate the wait is around 3 weeks because they bring some guy from the coast to do it he needs at least a few cars so its worth him coming down and the cost is $550 I checked my placard and its no where near the one above i rang croydon they dont do anything like that dont know who else to ring i need to find out who complied my car and maybe ring them!! Getting that placard will save me alot of head ache i guess!
