    OH THANK GOD 3rd time lucky got car back today! Problem = Bendix Solution = Lucas

    i just put changed my pads today again for the 3rd time got a pair of Lucas put in and no NOISE thank god i had bendix ultimate in before and man i will never get them again 2 noisy just wondering how much in $$$ is there different between bendix ultimate and lucas because originally i bought bendix pads full set for $250 and the mechanic changed them on the 3rd go for lucas??

    Only a nerd would rig a poll , verdict is i think there cool but im not brave enough to get them for $400 i can get a front mount! hehehehe

    Well thats the thing, im not a mechanic but putting in pads should be a simple thing i didnt think you can get it wrong and the effect being noises pads!!! my question is how can poor installation make pads go noises?

    no idea ask " HCR32" (barney) he has a user guide on a thread he posted Most of the noise has gone how ever there still is a little bit of noise, which was not there before. Ill never go bendix again.

    i didnt know you can do that , even more reason for me to get a front mount! but does it make a difference leaving your stock air filter or getting a K&N one and boxing it up? Coz i have a K&N filter but its not boxed up. basically wanted to know if it worth it

    FYI got the car back today, all is well dont no y it was just a head ache just 2 change pads apparently they had dust or dirt on the dics all fine now!

    to my knowledge any mods done need engineer certificate hence that box does not make it legal the certificate does. maybe im wrong but when i rang the rta techo's that’s what they told me about the air pod !
