  1. Yeh the downloaded version was my last resort, I guess I wanted the manual in the book form so it would sit nicely in my glovebox..as well as looking more official. Also the 75 AUS i spent on it was not a donation to http://jpnz.co.nz/
  2. Hi, Just wondering if anyone else paid for a translated manual from these guys http://jpnz.co.nz/and are still waiting for it to arrive also. I was ok with the week late thing but its now almost 3.5 weeks and im starting to think Ive been scammed, especially since they have not returned any of my emails. Thanks in advance
  3. Hi Chris Rogers, Is there an equivalent Chris Rogers located in or around Sydney by any chance? Cheers
  4. This mechanic of yours isn't located in the south of Sydney or Illawarra by any chance is he?
  5. Hello, Recently bought an Auto 2004 350GT skyline and have found a niggling noise a week after purchase. This car was used as a commuter car everyday prior to my ownership, so Im hoping its just general wear and tear. The sound comes from the back end and makes a noise similar to if a heavy person sat in a rickety chair, only less wooden and more metallic sounding. It does NOT make the sound when moving, only when making the shift of gear from Park to Drive, and from Drive to Reverse etc. I specifically did not want to buy an Auto for this reason, because I have always owned and driven Manuals and do not have enough knowledge of the Auto gearbox, however the compromise with the missus was that I could only own a Skyline of she could drive it. Admittedly this was the only type of car I would buy as an auto, despite my pining for the same car in manual. Oh I forgot my question was, does anyone have 1st hand experience with any good mechanics for this model car, in the Wollongong area. I am prepared to take it to Sydney if that would be more appropriate. Thank you for reading my essay! Regards
  6. Knocking noise from shifting from D to Reverse, coming from rear. Sounds like suspension area.

  7. Wow what a fantastic budget man! Good luck in your search. I wonder if you could possibly get an R34 gtr imported for that amount?
  8. I bought one of these today. Might hit you up about some things related to our new beasts. Havent worked out how to post pictures yet but should do soon. See you in the interweb
  9. Hi Michanic, Good luck with your build. Will you be sticking with the RB series engine or will you try something experimental? Ciao
  10. Hi there, today marked my return to the Skyline Owners Family. A little about me - Massive Skyline fan from way back in the Bathurst era when i was only a little kid. That fascination became more fueled with the original Gran Turismo PS1 game. I owned my first R31 Skyline RB30 (aus) when i was 18, and thought it was the ants pants. A shy kid with relative power at my disposal, the car changed my life. Rust came and slowly destroyed my old basher so i bought a 2nd 90spec R31 Ti model which i had converted to manual and a "silhouette" engine conversion. It was unfortunately a load of bullshit and i wasted 3k on nothing! However it was still the 3litre growl i had fallen love with so i was not overly upset. Today I returned to a Skyline after a long stint of life without one. A family tragedy and a new perspective on life brought a 2004 gt350 Skyline to my driveway and holy crumpets did i choose the right decision. Im so happy to be back in a family of solid, stylish, beautiful cars. Cheers to us all!
