  1. So I've got r33 s1 with 221000 on the clock, unregistered. Brand new mags with Pirelli tyres. Fresh respray in black 4 years ago.. Been covered in dust in garage since then and still is. Fiber glass bonnet and kit. Blitz inter cooler, hi flowed turbo only done 100k max since rebuild a few years ago. Brand new slotted rotors( not installed yet. G1 coil overs. 550 injectors. High flow fuel pump.. Interior is f**ked. There's probably things I've missed.. Compression of engine is good. It's was only ever running 9 psi. Ohh and I've got a wolf 3d ecu that's not installed either. No idea what the markets like. What could I ask for a quick sale
  2. Like seriously.. whats up with ECU's for cars. $2000ish for a computer that follows a programmed map, and has the processing power of a wrist watch..
  3. Why do any work to a drift car? Why not just put skinny tires on..
  4. Been thrashed i assume.. wow money gets you f**k all now days
  5. Heh heh traction.. im not worried about that
  6. ohh yeah ive never played with cams either not DOHC anyway
  7. To be honest the thought had crossed my mind.. problem is.. ive worked on most things to do with a car but ive never done bottom end work.. How technical is it.. ps i am quite confident in building shit im just used to working from plans
  8. So.. if i spent like lets say... 2- 2.5k for good measures.. on a low kms engine from japan. What sort of of reasonable targets could i get within my budget
  9. hmmm. well 600 isnt a fixed number i would prob be happy with 500, im just trying to get the best i can get for my money i have to spend
  10. yeah, i was talking bout building a engine not just bolt ons. I have been looking around the net and did find a rb30/25 on spool for 10k http://www.spoolimports.com/miscellaneous-short-engines/rb30det-complete-engine. 10-20k has gotta get me further then a big turbo, big injectors, ecu and a blown engine. Surely things haven't gone up that much
  11. nahh man i rather spend the extra money.. I've had the car 10 years.. I'd sell my mrs before the car
  12. Hey all I'm wanting to get a 600ish hp engine in my r33 gtst.. Price target 10-20k (20 is a push). is it possible? got a running rb25 decent intercooler, 3inch exhaust, good fuel pump and fuel pressure reg. What would you do? ps i live in brisbane
  13. Hey guys just a little delema im having with my car.. just done some mild modifications to the 33 over then last 6 months. 480 injectors gcg hi flow. finnaly got it back together bout an hour ago after doing the final oil change etc. started it up on the standard computer and supprisingly was running sweet. oil pressure fine temp at half way, bit of smoke from spilt oil but nothing to worry about. the only problem was i noticed that when touching the top covers it was almost too hot to touch also popped the radiator cap off and had a fair bit of pressure in there. yet the temp gauge was good. any ideas what could be going on. Could it be running hot because its been sitting for so long? or maybe fuel mix?
  14. Hi guys just put a wolf 3dv4+ in my r33gtst. And i need to get my hands on a base map or some thing close to my mods, so i can save a bit of time on the dyno heres a list of my mods hiflow Turb Bosh fuel pump( dunno what size) 3inch exhaust Front mount HkS Pod 480 injectors Like i said before dosn't have to be the same. just something to start with.
  15. Hey guys just a few questions ive just ordered a wolf 3dv4plus for my r33 and i have a few questions for the install. basicly from what ive seen in the DIY you need to install a air temp sensor and a air line to the back of the wolf (air line is for MAP or somethin to disconect AFM) just wondering if these are needed(not that air line is a worry). The only thing im a bit iffy about is wiring the air temp sensor in. If someone could dirrect me to a page or give me some pointers on wiring this in without connecting dirrectly to board.
