  7. Ive looking into alot of these pages and ive decieded to go with rebuild because of price. the mrs wont budge on the dollar amount and she thinks im only paying 1500 heh heh. I find it hard to believe that a stronger than standard turbo would only last a year. considering the stock has been cruising for 15yrs. besides i only intend to run about 15pound. So back to the origanal question does anyone have a site i can check out.

  9. XTRGTST-S1 The factory Turbocharger on a Nissan Skyline R32/33 GTS-T is a Ball Bearing, T3 sized unit, with a ceramic turbine wheel. In upgrading this unit, GCG replace the ball bearing pack with a new one, while replacing the Turbine wheel and Compressor wheel with larger steel wheels, making the Turbocharger Hi-Flowed Compressor, and Turbine end. The upgrade Turbocharger bolts directly back on the manifold with no modifications required, using the factory oil and water lines. After the Upgrade, the Turbocharger is rated 450hp.   14. Hey guys. had a injector give out on me and im in the market for a new set. Im running a Safc, bigger pump and pressure reg on my fuel system. just wondering is it possible to chuck slightly larger injectors in or wont the safc handle it..

Ok guys so i got home from work and tried to start it and it turned over and stopped. so i thought instead of damaging internals it was time to start to take things off the car. stripped pipes back to turbo to check out the comp wheel to see if it was stuffed. was ok. took of the coils and checked them for visual damage.. ok.. so i took out the plugs. Then i disconnected the fuse to fuel pump to lower fuel pressure and turned the car over(probably not a good idea considering there was no compression)didn't think of that till after.. but in the process of turning it over i had a nice big spray of fuel come out of the 6th cylinder. tried it again and happened again.. So what you guys reckon, faulty injector. im leaning that way. by the way im running a SAFC could that be the prob? Also while i got the coil packs off i was thinking i might test them. i know you have to test resistance but across what points? and what sort of reading am i suppose to get.. Cheers guys
  16. Oil Check Ok. ill try get a little bit of the leak and see if it light tomorrow in the light As for CAS. not technicaly minded enough to go pullin stuff like that off so ill have to let that one go. Any futher input would be much appreciated
  17. I was thinking it might be either injector sticking open or maybe a faulty coil pack and unburnt fuel going through exhaust housing. anyone know how to test for this
  18. positive it fuel. stinks like fuel as soon as car start and i smelt the leak. pretty sure it fuel.
  19. Ok guys, heres the story. Been working on my 33 last few months while it was getting painted. done things like replace all the vaccum lines and little bits around the engine bay.. last month or so my turbo has started coming to bits ie sounds like the bearings are stuffed. went to start my car today and it was running really bad so i drove my other car. got home tonight and discovered when the car was running fuel was slowly dripping from the join between exhaust and turbo.. . cant figure out whats going on here.
  20. i know with my company there penalties are pretty good double time etc working in rain money 9 day fortnight etc most big companys the workers are in a union and they useally fight for enterprise barganing agreements etc to get you more cash and better penalties its the same as most full time jobs
  21. age only useally affects you for the first 2yrs of a apprentice ship. if your over 21 you'll get min adult wage for first 2 yrs. once you go 3rd your usally getting paid more then min adult.. a few blokes from my work sat on 15 hr for the first 2 yrs then went up
  22. Hey mate. Im doing a electrical apprenticeship with a energy supply company in my state as a cable jointer. If your worried about pay my suggestion would be to hit up your state supply company eg QLD energex, for a job they offer jobs as efm(normal sparky), underground cable jointers and linesman. Hey guys getting my car painted back to black after replacing a heap of pannel when my little bro smashed my car. just wondering if theres any painters out there that could tell me how much i should be looking at paying. also could someone recomend a painter on the north side of brisbane. Heres a few pics for you to look at. tell me what you think of my little project so far. oh yeah the roof has a ripple in it from the bonnet hitting it too, straighten it the best i could its a bog job now i think.   25. hey all im doing a bit of work to my car atm and i just got a trust front bar. ive been looking on the narva site for lights i can use on it.. everything seems to be about 200mm long way to big.. im looking for approx 80-100mm length or diameter if round. anyone know where i can get some. posibly close to flush mount
