R33 GTR plenum removal, coolant leak

Some say that you should upgrade to silicone. and some say that it's rubbish. Confused -
One of the hoses on the rear of the engine(drivers side) are leaking coolant. I can't see any other way then to pull the plenum off (I've heard it's a fun job). I guess I should replace all the hoses I can when it's off. What are recommended, OEM or silicon? Are there any kit's with all hoses needed? Anything else that would be wise to replace when the plenum is off(except gasket)?

Screws to fasten climate control unit and stereo in R33? So my R33 GTR had a double-din player. And it had a GTS climate control unit and no sub meter. When installing the 1-din player and the GTR climate control unit, should it be screws that hold them in place in the bracket(there was none in my car)? If so, what kind?
