  1. Was good. A few people would have been sore last night and today]from the sunburn You guys were Red at 2-3pm... Hopefully I can get my sh|t together for a track meet soon...:burnout:
  2. Shannons will be cheaper if you dont do a lot of driving AND have it garaged etc... Also shannons have a much better policy than just cars, are cheaper everytime we get a quote [annually] and have hassle-free claims Just Car are not bad esp. for young people but they are not the best. xRHETTx, mine is insured for more than double $16.5K and I still pay $1,200 - it really comes down to WHAT car he is insuring???, suburb, rating etc. In theory a 32gtst will be cheaper than a 33 gtst which will be cheaper than a 34 gtt due to the cars value. StarionTurbo: so what is it? A 33 GTS-t?
  3. Shannons are good to me but I am 30 and the mrs is 28. They will give you good discounts for low mileage - thats what we are getting, Extreme Low Use policy. But I am not sure they will insure either a 20yo OR a P-plater? FYI we pay about $1,200 per car, rating 1 medium-low risk suburb etc GOOD LUCK mate!
  4. Where'd you end up getting the shocks done Marcus? QLD? That was a pretty quick turnaround if they were shipped interstate!
  5. Daylight Saving starts the last weekend in October every year [except syd2kolympics] which is NEXT WEEKEND, NOT this one As GTTR34 said Sunday 31st October, 2am becomes 3am...should see you guys down the sand tomorrow. I already knew but checked anyhow... From: http://www.info.vic.gov.au/resources/daylight.htm
  6. http://www.street-directory.com.au/aus_new...5&star=&heading= If Racecourse Dr is open then enter from dandy rd [princes hwy] if not then enter from Sandown Rd I should be popping down for a look
  7. Ya, those ones are pretty cool too - and will probably NOT need the bends as they are smaller and just sit on the top after the bend :cooldance Although on a black car like mine, they may not show up much? Either way at the price your asking is still worth getting a pair. Sewid: that would be great if you could get the dwg done
  8. Yeah they need to be bent possibly in 2 places...I will see if I can get the mrs or someone to do a scale drawing...
  9. I am keen for some for an R34, like these: Whereabouts in Melb are you Pashak? I am not that good with drawing stencils etc...
  10. bump, havent had to buy any myself but the cheapest price I have heard is around $250, have heard quotes from others up to $700 retail pre globe! One guy Assassin on here I think got one for $330 trade price. You could try contactin phillips maybe or just wait until ylwgtr finds this post - I think he knows where you can get em and at a good price
  11. Well if you are in Sydney just keep your eyes OPEN Article from A.I.M.S. here: http://carsguide.news.com.au/aims/story/0,...6-28977,00.html "The three firm orders are all from Sydney, all have property development as their core business and all are in their 40s." Looks nice in black.

  13. After looking at melways, I think the place is in Marriot St, Oakleigh just off Princes hwy. Near where it says Funl Director 1607 http://www.street-directory.com.au/aus_new...6&star=&heading=
  14. I saw a Suspension place in Oakleigh as I was going to Repco yesterday morning, I read their sign which said "We Rebuild All suspension types / components" etc can't remember the name of the place but if you want I can go back and find out their details - they are right behind Repco which is @ 1605 Princes Hwy [dandenong rd] oakleigh...just after Holden coming from city...

  16. Anyone for some pioneer speakers? They are a great speaker upgrade without needing to cut or modify your car! Price now $100 - thats $80 below new cost, & these are as new!
  17. I dont think Sandown's main straight is long enough, but its a good location for us South/East people Good work people!
  18. I have routed all of my wirings through the drivers side - just "above right" of the accelerator - its not easy to run wires through but is the best for what I needed: A. Direct route to battery - for amp wire B. Direct route to vacuum hose - for boost gauge C. Direct route for security stuff D. Easiest route for A/F Ratio gauge The wires end up coming out near the original manufacturers plate in the engine bay, green / blue one. No gromets at either end but you may need to create the initial hole at the drivers / footwell end!
  19. for a larf look it up on [rude word warning though]: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=chode they are probably referring to this one
  20. from dictionary.com 1 entry found for chode. chode Chode (ch[=o]d), the old imp. of chide. See Chide.
