  1. It's approx 6 x 10.5 inch [150mm x 262mm] - its a standard sized Factory Fit Air Filter, equivalent to Ryco A360 which suits numerous cars as I have previously mentioned. If you own a skyline with a stock airbox it will fit!
  2. inark: you are almost starting to contribute to this thread nark, watch it!!! you may have noticed the Big Grin smiley, or did you? Slim: btw I dont think there is anything wrong with the headlights, just some odd wires sticking out, being daytime we never tested them - did we mentionit was PISSING down raining the whole time we were there? It was If this 34 was a manual I would consider selling mine to buy it! He is asking $33.5k check: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...ch_distance=250
  3. I reckon the auto is possibly making it harder to sell but thats just my opinion. Car market seems to be slow atm. Call the guy and have a chat to him, find out how long until he leaves for O/S Personally, if you get that car for $30k you have got yourself a bargain I think, i would recommend a personal inspection and / or an RACV type test when buying any car too! A nice clean stock 34 from Japan is probably around 30K landed and complied, then how much would you need: to get the front bar, 18" wheels, front mount and all the other bits n pieces?
  4. why would i do it nob? I'm just letting Slim know cause he probably would not have seen it in the pics PLUS he is in sydney - :S

  10. Oh yeah nice pics Adz, did you get one of the "Line" up? I didnt even know you were taking shots you bastard, I would have posed
  11. Some things I picked up: There was a second B.O.V plumbed [t-piece] into the intake, a Blitz item possibly SSQ / Supersonic type. Look at the engine pic from the side and you'll notice an extra vacuum hose running along the intercooler pipes to the front - the blitz bov sits underneath the air intake snorkel - the owner had no idea that it was even there - factory bov is also fitted and working so you can choose how you want to run it: stock, or not! C.A.S timing was set to a fairly retarded setting - not really a problem but I would be setting to 15+ degrees personally! Owner told me he always uses Optimax so thats a plus! I thought the front bar had a crack in it, I could be wrong though, around the centre at the bottom - can't see clearly in pic. I actually saw this car when it was in a car yard in Melb - Success Motor Imports, Nepean hwy, [now closed, victims of RAWS i guess]. This owner bought it from them approx. 18 months ago I think he said. Adam test drove it a little so you can discuss that via email. Though he did say "the clutch was different in this car"??? I don't know what clutch he was using??? Sorry mate it had to be said, needless to say we all had a chuckle A generally nice looking car, the owner added the GTR wing & front bar himself and I assume the gauges / electric extras as they were not on the car in the car yard - wheels were though, nice wheels! Not sure if they are actually Nissan wheels or just centre caps? I didn't check or ask what suspension it had but it sat nice and low at both ends - again Adam can tell you what he thought of the driving characteristics. Couldn't figure out I/C brand and owner didnt know either but it was a decent size! Some loose wiring hanging out the back of the headlight [see side engine pic and you can spot a blue wire or 2] which seemed a bit odd as: headlight assembly's are the Halogen type [not Xenon] so I assume the globes are halogen also. These are the compliance headlights, maybe he has done a Xenon conversion but I don't think so. Everything else under the bonnet looked as it should. Plenty of extras and a nice looking car for that price I think
  12. I will see you guys down at Evo-R / N1 around 12:30 - but i won't go to the guys place unless you told him that a few people will be coming to check it out - I personally don't think its a nice thing to do to someone - unsuspectingly, have all these ppl rocking up. cheers elad.
  13. been with Shannons for 2 years, have 2 r34's insured with them, they are great on the phone - never claimed though. we have low km policies and multi discounts etc, also some relatives have a stock standard 2000 mdl pulsar SSS and 1996 model honda accord insured with them - once you are in you can pretty much insure what you like! They definitely PREFER car enthusiasts and sports / classic cars. I think excess is somewhere between $400 - $600, needed to have Aus Std Alarm fitted with 2-point immob. black wiring etc...maybe thats why your excess is high? We did actually get a windscreen replacement on one of the 34's and their service was awesome - for an insurance company Cost of rear w/screen was $700 secondhand, they said no worries + had it re-tinted after that! No complaints - in melbourne though!
