  1. 200 watt RMS @ 4 ohms - yes! 400 watt RMS @ 2 ohms - yes. Max power is higher, obviously, you interested?
  2. Yeah, thanks a lot

    Rear Lamps

mine is: 2 outside ones on for parkers and all on 4 for brakes - it has always looked ODD to me so...I think I will um fix it! Not something I think about much due to the fact I cant see the back of my own car, come to think of it, I dont see the back of many cars lol j/k
  4. Good luck! I have recently gone down this neverending path, I hope for your sake the knowledge of Clutches for 33's is much better than 34's. In short I ended up getting an Exedy Extreme Clutch [Pull type] fitted and supplied by BMT. Get in touch with Daikin Australia and they can advise what parts are available off the shelf and also where you can go to get it done - they wont sell anything direct though. Daikin also have Clutch "Kits" for some models [not mine] which includes a lightened flywheel, though wont be as light as the Jap ones INASNT is referring to. Yours should be a Push type which will make it A. Easier to find, B. Cheaper and C. Wider range to chose from. Cheers. ***edit: were you in the city today by any chance? near RMIT, down a dodgy laneway?
  5. yeah fair enough, when you are in heaps of traffic its sometimes hard to workout which one is yours! also last time i did mine the car next to me was sitting on the same speed but his registered at 101 or something...oh well. As long as your speedo is under and not over then you are better off! I'd rather my actual speed be like 95 when i am sitting on 100 than say 105, cause you could cop a fine, so to speak
  6. Should be on the back of the dvd / video cover... I have a VHS copy of what Monkey has...if you need me to get the dist. info I can, just ask???
  7. you probably were looking at the wrong time Nismoid - mine shows up as 98 when the needle on my speedo is 100. I have done this test at least a dozen times in the last year and it always says 98 if I am on 100. Maybe your cars' speed sensor is stuffed...or maybe your looking at the wrong lane reading... :shrugs: It works for me.
  8. Happy Birthday James!!! Sorry I wasn't able to celebrate it with you - we'll have to have a drink together some other time Shots are always a killer, esp when you have them AFTER drinking ALL night :uhh:
  9. The Joss concept car would be worth a look - checkout web for whats on etc. I should be going this weekend... Here's the TOP 10 from carpoint: http://carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/Minisite/si...ory.asp?ID=5865 Carpoint site: http://carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/Minisite/si...ory.asp?ID=5687 Here's the main site: http://www.motorshow.com.au/
  10. Nice one man :cooldance
  11. You will see plenty of imports, inc skylines on Chapel. Plus other nice cars, new and old!!! you will probably get sick of the VL turbros though - whooojoojoojoojoo
  12. Licensed = fully stocked bar [just in case you thought it was byo] You'll have a great time.
  13. Have to agree with that! If you find yourself in the heart of chapel st [between toorak rd and malvern rd, near Jam Factory] there are quite a few italian places, Cafe Sienna next to Frostbites and Kush across the road serves italian food plus yummy cakes Oh and good coffee too. Both places are licensed too
  14. Yes definately a bit harsh - I would hate to be starting a new business specialising in Skylines if thats the response you get... ***think positive thoughts*** If they are dodgy then they probably wont last [not with educated people at least] but I think they deserve a chance nonetheless. I think its great somebody is trying to look after our kind - I don't think there is enough around personally, not in my area and not like the industry in the rest of OZ... EDIT* I am sick of people either thinking I have an R33 [gtst] or that the parts are the same or calling my car an R34GTS-T - i mean really, is it that hard to know??? [This has happened with just about any workshop you care to name]. I will go to down this place and get me a NISMO sticker j/k
  15. You can talk. You have been whinging for the last, what? 9 months??? Speeding and cameras are just as much related as the cost of citilink usage...
  16. NGK ~ Platinum plugs [bCPR6ES or BCPR7ES colder range].
  17. Thanks for the info REVto10 I found a post where you quoted the R33 one as being approx 9 kgs, is my 34 one the same weight do you think? I have heard a story about this happening on a drag car and cutting the drivers legs clean off...OUCH! Point taken, I may just buy one like you've got in the future.
  18. I usually nod or give the thumbs up and sometimes wave, but not all at once - but sometimes with dark tint on your or their car, you can't always tell if people can see you - or you cant actually see them properly etc... In country Vic everyone used to wave at everyone but these days it doesnt happen much, they gone snobby now??? Or do they think I am cause of the car? Maybe they are just trying to grab my number plate lol
  19. I am getting a new clutch fitted on tuesday and wanted to know peoples opinion / experience with lightening the standard flywheel. I have had mixed reports, some say buy aftermarket - which I can't afford right now. Some say a little bit [10-30%] should be ok. so please if you know from experience I would appreciate any feedback. any costs on cheap aftermarket ones may help too btw: clutch will be Daikin Exedy custom kit with approx 30% more clamping pressure, if that info helps. Cheers, Dale.
  20. I think he is trying to be funny...? The pics I have previously seen of your car look like its ready for a show to me. So dont doubt yourself or your car - just give it a nice scrub It looks very schmick!
  21. I wouldnt be so sure dude... 2 weeks ago I got a nice letter in the mail from Vic Police advising me that although they are currently not fining people, they caught my car doing 106 Kmh on the western ring road [outbound heading towards deer park / keilor]. The notice basically said: pending the outcome of the system testing I may or may not be fined BEWARE! The cameras are still snapping away and you MAY still end up with a fine. BTW, I will be around the Torquay area on the 28th for my Mum's birthday so if I can meet you guys somewhere along the way I will but I may be stuck at the beach havin a bbq and beer! Have fun!
  22. Are you sure you're the best person for the job Ni? I mean considering what happened with your last set of plugs ? ? ? Nah, you'll be fine im sure... edit*** http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ght=spark+plugs
  23. 1 slave labour comin up I agree 1 hour for a half decent job, maybe the 32 / 33's are a bit quicker? 34 has strut bar and engine shroud in the way as well as everything else...Bov, Plenum [which may involve ic piping removal], rocker cover 8-10 allen key bolts from memory...plus ALL of the individual coil packs...4 bolts each! My first go took me approx 2 hours, with the 2nd attempt maybe an hour - except I was cleaning everything while I was doing the plugs...if you only change the plugs then probably an hour on a good day - try it in 40 degree heat /wipes brow
