  1. Give them a call [9563-1166] - I didnt ask about prices for a full turbo back but they can do it. The resonator is designed by Matt, I believe its like a spiral design that helps the air flow but keeps the turbulent noise to a minimum. Approx $200-220 fitted.
  2. You are more Paranoid than I am Ash - nobody ever questioned how or why he got those times So you are saying none of us know how to drive? Well, I still have *my* licence and *my* turbo still works - your comments arent appreciated. Driving on the track is much different to the roads too BTW so I really dont know how you can say he knows how to drive better than others? Add a helmet to the equation and it really does take a few runs to know what you are doing. I am really sick of the *I am better than you* attitude that seems to go on around here. We are supposed to be a club / friends / working together...
  3. lol I started my whoring of wasteland on the 78th page! just had a quick read through omg - such noobinesss...
  4. I retracted my double posting - darn server downages fault anyways
  5. I tend to disagree with that. I tried my best to stay away from the w/l for as long as i could thus I wasnt there early on...but i was in other threads! /goes and checks what page he started posting in w/l
  6. actually if I had of joined when I was first interested in skylines it would have been in the eighties - yes I had my learners in the 80's lol way back when they were selling brand new R31 GTS' in Black or Red, straight outta N-SVD or OzNismo as i call it but them's probably the wrong kinda memories for here.
  7. me too joined in 02, I think I may have actually joined SDU first and then found this place memories hmm, well I only joined up AFTER buying my skyline I thought that I wasnt actually allowed to join a skyline club without actually owning one Otherwise I would have joined months earlier - in the lead up to buying. In hindsight I could have found more knowledge about these cars before spending the cash. In Foresight I didnt get ripped with the price, I have still learned a lot about my car [with you guys] and I didnt buy a lemon either Posting sure has changed a lot since 02 - I remember that post-whoring got so carried away that they took away our Post Count - asif that stopped us . Then they bought the count back after some of us settled down [or got day jobs]. oh the memories...
  8. I never seem to get fotographed by those wankers - i think they prefer the rice
  9. I dont know that he did that many, but he did run a few times. I think I met him at one of our cruises but didnt get to talk to him yesterday - I did see the him reel of a 13.8 though This was after one of our guys [R34GTT-R] gave him some launch advice
  10. Just got 455kms out of pretty much a full tank - however consider this: I drove to heathcote and back, I also had 17 drag races at heathcote and also did lots and lots of fanging during the week, plus some normal type driving - I would say that my air / fuel ratio's and general state of tune is pretty darn good I am now wondering how Jamezilla fared from doing the same thing ? Did you go through 2 tanks or 3 ?
  11. I would be surprised if he did screw you around Sid. Do you mean he couldnt get the parts you wanted? Or couldnt make them? Or said he would do something and didnt? Please let me know what happened as I am keen to know myself. Saying he is a great bloke but screwed you around in the same sentence doesnt really make much sense to me. I know Matt is working on doing R34 Front / Dump pipes, but like many Exhaust places in the country there is just not enough demand out there and the knowledge of our cars is thus limited for them to know how do it. He already has the front pipe for 32/33/34 afaik but just not the dump pipe off the turbo...for 34...yet! And for people with 33's "exhaust pipes, mufflers, dumps, fronts etc dont always fit on to 34's. Along with a lot of other parts. Otherwise we would be using them already
  12. I am not sure mate but he did say that he was "NOW" at the new place and to let everyone know he has moved - so even if he owns both, which I am not sure of, he is personally only at Mufflers Now in Oakleigh!
  13. It wont happen overnight but it will happen We have already had an 'informal' challenge, she is still perfecting take-off [so am I] and wants to at least match my mods first. Watch this space! lol
  14. I dont think Paul's [riggaP] car is stock guys - but nonetheless he did very well getting into the 13's. I ended up having about 17 runs - you can call me "drag whore" if you like My best was 13.84 @ 101.58mph, 60ft - 2.17secs. I was stoked. On the day all my combined mods were, Pod filter, 3inch catback with Jasma [very quiet] kakimoto muffler and running 10-11psi. Street fuel 98ron and street 'el cheapo' tyres. Was a great day for it, nice and sunny without being too hot. Cheers for the photo's Gordo.
  15. I usually live and drive nowhere near mill park / thomo but i may come over for one of those kebabs
  16. Yippee Just had a few runs at heathcote yesterday - along with a few SAU-VIC & BMT boys, so there should be a few additions coming your way BENM. Check your PM
  17. havent been online since friday - will send it for future reference though mate Was a good turn out of people and we all recorded times that we are happy with - no major car fatalaties either [for the SAU camp]. Cheers.
  18. No probs.
  19. ***UPDATE*** Just got off the phone to HP raceway. Gates open 9-930, racing starts at 1100 and in terms of being busy they said "you never can tell" - but they are not 'expecting' a huge meet. I also spoke to them about their Tripod website [being down] - their reply was that "there is too much traffic going through" which is why it has been innaccesible and "they are in the process of setting up their own one".
  20. Im glade that my credit card air freshener still works :S
  21. Am I allowed to post in here Matty? [smoothline] ? I am keen too Get Ben Ellis to bring his Black 34 Project car down for the event - heck we could even get about 5 or 6 black 34's together...ourselves - which is just silly :S good voting options btw cbf
  22. yeah I was wondering whether we should organise to cruise together or not, it will be an early one either way. what do you guys want to do? meet there or cruise together?
  23. That must have been the day I was there too slayer - I just started to get into 1/2 respectable times and then the bloody rain started just as I was about 2 cars off my next run - d'oh. James: that CANT be YOUR niva, surely? Its way too clean
  24. Your post may confuse people Pushead - YES it is the same Matt but NO he is not at DAALDER boxhill anymore - he is running his own shop now Thanks.
  25. Racing usually starts at 11 but this week may be 10 as gates open at 9am. I will be calling them up today to confirm all is on track and to re-check these kind of details. Daz I will be the one [and hopefully only] in a Black 34 with White wheelz
