  1. sounds good mate I will be bringing a MiniDV vid cam [+ a couple of friends to shoot it]
  2. Disclaimer: This is not an advertisement, merely a report on a pleasant experience I had when dealing with getting modifications. I see lots of posts about bad experiences or things that went wrong - this is a story with a happy ending. Hey Guys, I just had my exhaust quietened down a bit - no EPA notice but it was probably only a matter of time. I had a lot of droning in the cabin and a very annoying resonance particularly at 100kmh! Even between 90-110k really. If you want a resonator or system made up so that its fairly quiet [legal] but flows very, very well - go down to Mufflers Now in Oakleigh [1611 Dandenong Road, near FTG road] and talk to Matt. Phone is 9563-1166 I had some custom piping made up by Matt and a different muffler fitted [still kakimoto ;-)]. These guys know skylines and turbo cars very well. A very professional job indeed and for a nice price! On the other hand if you have a stock exhaust, these guys can make up a system so that it increases performance and sounds great. They are also starting to do Front pipes and the price is approx. $220 fitted for 3inch mandrel S/steel piping - I will be getting one of these very soon. Matt at Mufflers Now used to work at DAALDER exh. in Box Hill, quite a few people know him from there and he is the guy patenting his own resonator design [which is gauranteed to be 90db and still flows nicely] and specialises in Turbo cars [inc skylines / vl's etc]. Cheers, Dale.

I have a printout of events until December 2003 [at home] and I am pretty sure they run EVERY Sunday. Every 2nd week has a burnout comp and alternate weeks include a trophy day. I posted a link in my Heathcote thread today from fast fours website which has at least this weeks event info - probably gets updated after each event - check calendar http://www.fastfoursvip.com/newsandevents.aspx this weeks heathcote meet: http://www.fastfoursvip.com/newsandevents_...t.aspx?view=104
  5. Heathcote Park's [tripod hosted] site seems to be offline. This is the next best info I could find: http://www.fastfoursvip.com/newsandevents_...t.aspx?view=104
  6. So who is still planning on going? Myself + at least 1 friend will be running our cars, who else is keen while the weather is still nice and cool? 11. Have prior commitments tonight - will try for next weeks...
  12. I should be able to hook you up Adz I have a stock cat-back sitting at home [for emergencies / epa etc]. It has a *factory option* Nissan / Nismo muffler but it is definately a stock item. I also know a guy who has MY stock cat-back [probably for sale too], complete with factory nissan [calsonic] muffler with the twin tips! rent-try-buy
  13. so you must suck at the internet too darK link dun work 4 me neither, sounds like a nice car though - congrats
  14. I could make one up for you myself - I did my own and its not very hard to get a good result. I think a DIY one would be similar to most *branded* ones anyway - just depends on how much money you wanna throw at it, you can buy a cheap valve or a beter quality one for more $$$ [like most things in life ]. I can get all the parts for a schmick valve for between $25 and $50 for a diy job! OR for a more professional job, Dr_Drift makes / sells his own version of bleed valve - through BMT, send him a PM or contact him via w: http://www.bmtmotorsports.com.au/ p: 9497 5600 e: [email protected]
  15. Ash your mind is so corrupt with *mods* that you forget what tuned means [service / tune]. btw my kms are with BP Ultimate 98 too.
  16. ha ha yeah Robs, i am very keen on going - you? ps I may have found a gtt cooler 4 ya...maybe...
  17. Tuning and less flamage will improve your fuel economy ;-) I get around 400km or so in my 34 [gtt]. Which is usually city / highway combo, but mostly city kms. Strictly highway gets me 500Km or so N.B. this includes some 'fanging' of course.
  18. I better not say anything... anyway, Rob I am sure I saw you on dandy rd near Glenferrie Rd the other night...you were pimpin, stereo blastin, you were dead set headed for chaps I recon
  19. Who the **** is Dale? :bahaha:
  20. Thought I would just add that my Terminal Speed, which was 101mph, indicates my 34 should be in the same ET bracket as Franks' 13.8 sec 1/4...(2.1 60ft, 99mph) That should hopefully make it look a bit better Anyways...going to heathcote on Sunday [oct 5th] and hopefully will be recording a time in the 34 GTT category
  21. yeah but we could have bought 1 X R34 GTR instead of 2 X R34 GTT's - oh well, we have a *his* AND *hers* this way
  22. NIZR34GTT: I managed a 14.7 in the wet at heathcote a few months ago, I am going back in a couple of weeks to have a proper go. My mods were: 3.5inch cat back, pod filter and approx 11-12psi. A slightly modded 34 GTt should be able to get into the 13's I reckon - a high 13 that is My 60ft time was like 2.7secs and had heaps of wheelspin :burnout: even in 3rd [wet track didnt help really].
  23. Daily Driver - My R34 Skyline When I am not driving that, I am usually driving my wifes car - an R34 Skyline also
  24. yes it must be Gary..........or..........Gary dodgey and not-so-dodgey
