  1. I'm with Muz on that one, all 34's are complied / rego'd without any modification or addition of a brake light any higher than stock offering. Adz: I have test driven a 34 GTT that had a GT wing on the back which was already complied but I am not 100% certain whether that means it is deemed ok though.
  2. hmm I just had my wheels aligned but I dont know whether they considered the 4WS or not? Only cost me $35 from South Eastern Tyres on Westall Road Clayton. But doesnt have drive over / flat hoist - sorry. However my friend also got his car done which has a VERY low front bar and lowered suspension, they were very careful and even pulled out a couple of wooden planks to assist with getting it OFF the hoist again. All good there
  3. Yes - mine too! Although people say it looks clean so I dont bother washing it that often about once a month or maybe every few weeks - during winter / wet weather anyway.
  4. yeah mine has the white rims and sticker - thats how i know which one is mine i drive round that area a fair bit these days - got friends in bentleigh etc. I wish i had the time to go on the whole cruise but only just made it to the meet point having bought the 'other' 34 that day!
  5. Rob you now know they are pretty good units [after our testing last night] - so dont be tight and get a GME one dammit

    Illegal Drags

adding to that: "FRIDAY EVENINGS GATES OPEN 5.00 PM RACING 6.00 PM COMPETITOR ENTRY $55.00 (Incl. GST) ENTRY - BURNOUT COMP $40.00 (Incl. GST) SPECTATOR $17.00 (Incl. GST)" yeah good one, make everyone drive through friday f**king peak hour traffic to get there too...and $17 just to watch - no wonder there are so many 'spectators' at the illegal drags... of course there is always heathcote as a back up - only $40 but spend $30 in fuel at least to get there and back driving for f**king 2 hours each way... I would rather go on a cruise personally we need more venues or at least better access to the current ones - ie. price, time and frequency of events... /end rant
  7. fair enough, didnt think of that - what a waste though, to buy a nice import and not drive it on the roads...of course they could still use them on the track though I guess.
  8. Good Work AC These unit are very good so far, isnt that right RedlineGTR Thanks!
  9. Predator: nirvana used to be a friend of mine
  10. surely somebody in a position of power actually likes imports? by imports i am also including the US and Europe. how does this [inc raws] affect collectors such as Kerry Packer, Lindsay Fox etc? Or doesnt it affect them? bah typical govt, bowing down to the local market - what happend, holden only sell 600,000 units last year or somethin? /end rant
  11. A quote from a friend of mine: [at least I think he is a friend ] "Just because you're paranoid doesnt mean they are not after you" :Paranoid: J/K

    R34 Plates

you wont be able to get "R34PWR & R34EVA" in Victoria anyway. Numbers can only be on the end of the plate OR only numbers eg 343434 or SKYR34 are allowed...not a mix up of alphanumerics
  14. thats what I was thinking + I can pick up my CB!

  24. no probs mate, I know a couple of guys in the business and they are NOT prepared to run a perfectly good 34 into the wall at this stage ~ for RAWS. My partner has pretty much just bought herself a 34 gtt [grade 4-4.5 I think] for around that figure anyways - modified how many tests will they allow? Sorry for being off-topic max.89! Although some of this stuff does affect you. Nark / Horus, I wasnt thinking like you guys, I knew he meant Auction Grade LOL
  25. Area: Caulfield / Elsternwick Location: there are plenty but one driveway to look out for in particualr is the Orrong road entry to COLES, even STOCK ride height cars have trouble Go around the other side off glenhuntly road or as the opposite entrance there is fine. Otherwise just park on Orrong rd or G/huntly rd. This will go on forever as there are so many 'hazards' - good idea though EDIT** not the same COLES as skyline33's post but I also agree with him
