JET you could try that 'speciale' resonator that DAALDER make - pushead knows more about this and the cost - around $200 and is supposedly guaranteed to be 'legal' loudness!

I think I saw a *brand new* r34 GTT turbocharger for sale in here for $1,000 it was about 6 months ago. That may help you workout a 2nd hand price

Yeah I understand but that is part of the problem. A lot of police abuse their position of power and have NO respect for the law they are supposed to be upholding. Just because you have nothing to hide doesnt mean he/she should be given permission to look under the bonnet. Thats what I was getting at with my first post anyway. Doesnt matter...

You should double check that nark - I used to have a cams licence and it was required for track days. I may just be able to renew mine unless the rules have changed? I think its a level 2 one
