  1. I have seen a few 2 dr r31's - I like em
  2. Head Up Display, displays info on to windscreen. also in late model bluebirds [u13] etc.
  3. Nah Matt, I am talking 5k for new home owners and 3k for brand new house there is no 7k grant in Vic anymore... ps. I also know about R.E. edit, there is no $7k anymore...My brother only got $5k last month /end off topic out of respect for this thread I deleted other off topic posts of mine
  4. no longer $14k, max is about $8k if you are a first time home buyer and you buy brand new...[of course I got the 14k ]. Sounds good Gordo! I like the look of late model 180sx's, 98. but I dont like the older ones much, I see lots of them around. P-platin drifters, pft. R32 looks nicer and from what these guys are saying it sounds like the better buy too.
  5. That's a classic :bahaha: here's one of myne:
  6. he he he btw you spelt constable wrong
  7. your profile says you live in SE? so whats the difference? you are already eastside arent you? either way ~ THAT SUCKS!!! sorry to hear it, at least you didnt lose points too.
  8. Sorry I am going to have to pull out, I am still drunk. Hope you all have a good, safe cruise
  9. found a pic, this is the nissan NZ auto 34 gtt dash - takes a breath: you can see the tacho on the right of the speedo, like mine. Assassin on here has an auto 34 gtt but i dont remember what his dash looks like. they are generally a bit different in COLOUR to ours, like the steering wheel the dash also has some silver in it...
  10. Sorry, yeah I did get the pic. Doesn't look like any other 34 dash I have seen. But it still looks factory, which I think you said yourself earlier - weird! Your fuel and temp [coolant] gauges are opposite to mine and so is the speed / tacho. You still have the 180km/h speedo so it wouldnt be aftermarket cause they are 300km/h generally. What year was yours again? 98? maybe there was a change? The only other thing I can think of is that you may have a model designed for intl market such as NZ or the UK? But looking at a skyline brochure from nissan nz, dash looks like mine...trying to find pic
  11. ok george costanza I have been following that 34 project for a while now [its in the mag too] - but still trying to get my hands on dvd's v5 and v6, you got them Mark?
  12. 4WD should appease the old man over 2WD surely? plus the level of technology, refinement and the total package that IS the GTR!
  13. Sam, you already know what I am gonna say [whisper] Oo GTR oO [/whisper] NB. you have time on your side, test a few, get up close & personal. Probably not a whole lot of 34 gtr's in the country to test but plenty s15 - perhaps the answer lies in that comment

    funny sh|t...
  15. Sometimes I run 10-11 psi, but currently I have it down to stock, too many accidents lately in the wet [other people]. When its dry I put it back up So anywhere from 8-11 psi is what I run. Although my stock boost guage is not accurate, I should get an aftermarket one. These figures are a bit of guesswork based on my boost level from dyno day [182kw @ 10psi]. A lot of people say that an increase of 2-3 psi shouldnt cause any serious problems for a turbo / engine. Even less of a problem if you have a front mount or POD for cooler / better intake flow...
  16. no probs ARGH34. I dont know how accurate these meters are mate but 155kw - would be at the wheels and actually sounds about right considering the mods and boost level. A stock 34 gtt registered 160kw at a recent dyno day [dyno dynamics brand dyno]. Mine with pod/exhaust/boost mods got 182kw. /waiting for piccy
  17. my head is about average size - i think  I voted in. Probably beanie, maybe 1 of each. How about SAU front and R34 lights on the back?
  18. I caught a bit of this *quality* show
  19. mine cost $27.50 last year for a basic test. aybee is correct in saying that 3db is a doubling in sound output - but i didnt learn that in high school. 83db is very quiet compared to 90db. The human ear can not detect a volume change of 1db either, usually 2db or higher. So another b.s. part of the story is that if your exhaust is say around 90 / 91 / 92db you might get called in for a test but actually pass it without needing to make a change. A cop that hears your car drive passed doesnt actually have a clue what the output is - they just decided that YOU need to pay the govt some more $$$ sux.
  20. they in US though...
  21. link not working and target url just goes to a webpage and not a specific pic. based on website, the sticker must be R / X rated ?
  22. I already have one of these scanners mate Yupiteru MVT-7100 Its as clear as the northern sky ~ from the north pole! Better than uniden too, thats for sure. Dont worry about codes either - I have these covered
  23. ok my bad - sorry... I am not too young just on a slow connection... you just came across as being sarcastic thats all
  24. you didnt. and it isnt answered in this thread either quote from dan_the_man "Safety feature for skylines" not exactly specific now is it. or what about this quote from Jay "Yepp, I've seen this in a mates R33 GTS-t" doesnt exactly say 33's only either. whats yr point duncan? are you simply too old or cant be bothered with my question? in which case rack off and try something useful. your profile says u own a 33, so how would you know about a 34? if you or anyone else actually knows some useful info like a particular thread url then help would be welcomed and appreciated - your post is just a wot - imo.
