  1. my best of 14.7 is not exactly the car's potential IMO, but a bit more respectable than my first 2 efforts: 19 and 16.97 ha ha! I think starting with a wet track was never going to be an easy task - my drag strip driving methods will be improving [i already know how to drive the car on the street]. I am a bit pissed off about the rain / times really but the day was good and the support / enthusiasm from everyone was great! thanks. we have some good video footage too - online soon!

  3. I have a stock cat-back for a 34...if you come back online...
  4. yes traffic will be light but there will be higher speed zones - dandy 80 / 70, westgate 100, ringrd 100 etc etc the other way is mostly 60 maybe a 70... and what about all the *european's* going to church or buying their veges down syd-e-ney rd? huh?
  5. see everyone at maccas *homesglen* at 7-715! prefer not to call it chaddy cause thats a different maccas... GTR-34: will be nice to see your beast down there too um i am thinking dandy rd, kingsway, westgate, ring road to hume will be the best way [several friends do this trip all the time, going through the city and up syd-e-ney rd may not be the best way...[this route would mean that in fact chaddy maccas on dandy rd would be the better [pre]meet spot] what do you guys think? Gordo, where is ya?
  6. there will ALWAYS be someone else who is QUICKER, BETTER, FASTER, BIGGER, HARDER etc... I dont think many of us plan to set a new land speed record on sunday - its for fun and those who havent run their car before will see what it / they can do also [like me]! racing goes for like 5 hours in total, have a few runs then watch for a while, or the other way round
  7. um, quite a few of us are going to heathcote this sunday racing goes until 4pm...hmm may not get back in time.
  8. *rubs hands together*
  9. lol, nice work
  10. chaddy maccas is like 60 seconds from my place [@ 10 psi]
  11. If all goes to plan i should have 2 vid cameras going on sunday with a plan to make some SVCD's shortly after - hows that club shop coming along then ?
  12. yes east is me too - near chadstone [& predator666] we should organise somewhere to meet up around 7:15ish - perhaps via PM / email / phone ?

  15. Now on each page there is the main post by Predator666 with ALL the info such as this Although there will probably be several different meet spots in addition to this [earlier] for other smaller groups wanting to travel to the main point from similar locales - Since I own the tops of pages 2 & 3 I have quoted the main info on them into my posts
  16. am i seeing double am i seeing double
  17. My point though is that the price is NOT comparable either I have the real thing but I wouldnt have paid $1,000+ I have seem plenty of cars on the street that dont have xenon but their headlights look much nicer with white lamps - yellow is just a bit 80's to me...
  18. yeah - it seems to be really good timing for those pollies to have implemented the changes to the import laws innit? Just when the AUD > YEN is high!!! Last night it was 75.95 I guess they didnt predict this situation? but the local 4 would be happy im sure...
  19. Ahh another new wasteland Geoff is a nice bloke. Perhaps the current *change-over* is forcing a lot of guys in the business to look at other ventures such a 15yo's until the mainstream cars flow through kobe etc again? thats about enough for 9 in the morning
  20. probably a better idea to get those *whiter & brighter - HID look* replacement globes and spend yer money on something else, just a thought!
  21. GiJOr33: have you tried calling them to check or are you just basing that info on their website? Personally I would give them a call, Xenall and Motorware Or perhaps you could try and find a set from the series III r33 GTR - I think they had xenons which should fit your car - theoretically!
  22. R34 mate I should still be coming at this stage too!
  23. I will definately beat my own times [havent raced it yet] thanks for the update / info pred! my helmet should be fine in that case
