  1. Is it just me or do dump pipes look like something else you might find around the house [not mine]
  2. Just noticed that on the first link you posted Steve http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/partsinstock.htm, they also have these: "New stainless front pipes to suit Skyline R32-33 and SR20 S13, S14, S15 silvia/180SX ~ $350" See pic below. So dont worry about the MS for $325 - spend the extra $25 This price for an SS front pipe was similar to batmbl's I think! [if you cant get it anymore]. I am still trying to figure out if all the 32/33 front pipes will fit my car, any takers? Please!
  3. I do but Im about to get kicjed off the net - its a work dialup [free ] add me into your messanger and we'll catch up sometime, maybe tomorrow. [email protected] ok, c ya :wavey:
  4. 1/2 to 3/4 sounds about right dude, what air filter you got? standard? what about exhaust? If you do a few minor mods you will gain quite a bit of power
  5. a couple of commodores...mostly VL turbos though
  6. pic of 34 boost gauge
  7. interesting. with a simota pod [no partition etc], 10psi boost and a cat-back ex. [no other mods] mine managed 182rwks on a dyno dynamics, not in shootout mode either.
  8. Good question Scott. I can give you a price range on 3inch cats: $160 > $350 depends on brand and where you buy from. Worth it? I would say yes based on cost - There is a saying "your exhaust is only as good as the smallest restriction". In your case its the cat! Hopefully other people can better answer the first question? I am about to buy a 3inch cat too.
  9. For info: the +1 reading on a 34GTT factory boost gauge is equivalent to 14.2 PSi. So if Erik's car is stock the standard boost gauge should go to approx halfway between 0 and +1. Mine went closer to the 3/4 mark BEFORE any bleed valve was fitted, which "indicated" around 10psi, however stock boost is .55 bar / 7.9 psi. After dyno testing I have discovered my factory boost gauge is out by approx 2psi - at least I know now. Will look for pic of gauge to illustr8 Useless fact #4: +1 is Kg/cm2 which is 0.98 of 1 bar thus 14.2 psi...
  10. I'd go 1 step further and email him if possible!
  11. just noticed milk is on there wif same avatar - :Owned:
  12. yeah i came across a link to that forum, posted by Ed i think... group foto munkeh? im not there so it doesnt count or am i? Do we really need another porn server?
  13. Thanks. how did you know I was broke
  14. more questions: is it nescesary to hpc coat a SS front pipe? [or any other heat treatment?] I was hoping to just bolt it straight on - given the fact that the turbo is stock and only a mild 10psi of boost [factory is 8psi] - will temps be okay without heat treatment? Thanks guys!
  15. I think you would be lucky CR34TION, the original post is like a year old now!
  16. skyline33: thanks, I have been quoted around $800 for TEIN HA and Bilstein susp, but I havent decided on anything yet...I will let you know if interested.
  17. CR34TION: why would you return to stock? Not happy with suspension? How much do you want ? skyline33: Are the Apexi T-max adjustable for ride height? Damping? Cost?
  18. If you still want one, I can ask my importer for a 2nd hand price but I am guessing it wont be cheap...lemme know.
  19. I am keen too!
  20. I havent spoken to the EPA directly but a couple of the Melbourne guys have and say that 1 intake mod is allowed...*goes and looks for thread* here's one: laws on mods in vic? Or just call the EPA to get it from the horses mouth!
  21. Except for the AVS wheels of course... I was just speaking to the misses the other day about having twins...nice! Yep, 100 for sale to the public @ A$110,000 each! Though 110 cars were actually shipped over, 10 of them were used for testing and media relations etc... I actually saw one the other day, well it had the Oz spec rear end etc so it could have been, was in mint condition too I have seen these roadtest vidz, downloaded from net, some can be found HERE
  22. Mine has the month / year on the seatbelt label [near bottom] but is a 34, i guess yours should have something similar... then of course the seatbelts may not be the original ones but most likely they are...
  23. i like the skanks
  24. Off-topic: I got 300k out of half a tank, but this was mostly highway driving! On-topic: Those would have to be fairly clean, low km 33 GTR's for the price IMO. Have seen them for much closer to $40k in Oz.
