not likely mate sorry. not in any sort of driving condition anyway! there was a purple vspec r33 gtr i could have bought for $24,000 but the car was damaged and i couldnt be bothered with the hassle...plus i had just bought my 34 at the time...

I believe he asked TOP SPEED in each gear not TOP SPEED! I have seen mine go over 100 in second gear, third gear somewhere in the 140-160 region [on a race track of course]. Too busy looking at the road to be honest I have seen these performance times floating around: R33 GTST: 0-100km/h: 6.18 seconds, 0-400m: 14.39 seconds

A GTR, a stock 34 version has been tested in Oz doing 4.4 secs 0-100Km/h is that quick enough? It was a Vsec II N1.

I would recommend Shannons if you can, having gone through a rigorous process late last year with my r34GTT [also black ] they were the best by far ~ they beat all the other inc. just car. FTR: I am rating 1, 28 y.o. and am paying $1,200 [full comp ins.] for a turbo/2door/import hopefully it wont be too long til you can get down to a similar figure. 5 years ago i got a quote for a nissan pintara trx for approx. $4,300 - a locally built 4 cylinder non-turbo, insurance companies suck - especially when you are young & havent got a rating...

i am reading it now GTR managed a 0-100k: 4.4 secs and 0-400m: 12.7 @ 178.4km/h vs GTS 0-100k: 5.8 secs and 0-400m: 13.9 @ 190km/h. On a 35 degree day @ calder. Power: GTR 214kw at the wheels GTS 230kw at the wheels

Yeah, the one I said Rob, FLUX OFF leaves NO residue either! I cleaned out my mobile and got it working with this stuff My AFM doesn't seem to be dirty at all ~ yet! Idle is a tiny bit uneven occasionally but I don't think its AFM related. Most likely due to CAS and idle adjuster being messed with...next dyno session will sort this out though...more than likely

I dont think you will have trouble on a straight run ~ type r is like 15.5 sec over 400m...not a lot of torque down low either so take offs cant be anything special...*ducks for cover* Why "of course" Ed? I dont see no integra flogging V8's around bathurst...a GTT has very similar suspension geometry to a GTR BTW...and bathurst is NOT a straight road either...:confused:

maybe you need to get used to it, being a bigger car / when comparing to a smaller type-r? etc also driveline is complete opposite...to a type-r I am happy with mine...

You dont always get the choice... The only way you have the choice to leave them on is if you have a dodgy compliancer. All others have to try and source a set of them... Do you think i would have said NO to xenons?

i dont think so...maybe a trophy, i know you get a time slip...they do have shootouts but you will need to be quick to qualify for that i think
