I know a couple of spots that are great if you want to use the Westgate Bridge as a backdrop! There are really good spots on both sides, I think it would be best at sunset / dusk / night - the bridge shows up better at night! More clarity and detail. Let me know if you want more details. FTR its "Bolte" bridge, but you guys were close.

Last time i was in ballarat / sebas i saw heaps of skylines, like at least 5-6 r34's and a few 32/33's aswell...this was during the day on a tuesday though.

Are these models of tein all adjustable? And does this affect the hard / soft charateristics? I am looking at getting a set of TEIN adjustables, though i dont know which version it is, how do you work it out? Is it stamped on them somewhere? Price is $800, secondhand, came off a 34 [which is what i have].

It also looks lowered to me! Do you know what suspension is in it? Adjustable? Edit: I just saw your other thread on suspension.

My previous white car had summer breeze tint [still does] and i was happy with it! Dark enough and still legal. IMO the formula one tint from tint-a-car looks GREEN, they keep telling me it isnt green but my eyes [20/20 vision with no colour issues] tell a different story. Hang on mine was also called Ash Cool, but i think it was just the colour [type: s/breeze, colour: a/cool?] It was the next dearest after F1. Only problem for me and i assume others is that it wont match the already tinted rear quarters and back w/screen as this is really dark [i like it]? And from the factory AFAIK :confused: [a little] I guess I can say it was like that from JP too!

Dude, you can get cheaper, but the condition / kms get worse. It depends on WHAT you want. A nice clean [undamaged] low km vehicle with 5spd and turbo will be at least $33k. I am sure you can knock some off that price too [$36.5], you should be able to get it for under or around 35k I think. Here is an example of a slightly damaged / cheaper 34, 5spd turbo: Prestige Motorsport Bear in mind this car is still in Japan and price does [obviously] not include tyres and on-roads. But it is a nice price! Ps make sure you check the condition notes...

I was last in Ballarat / Sebas 2 weeks ago and let me tell you I have never seen so many R34's in the one area. Most of them for sale too. On the road between Sebas / Ballarat I saw 2 r34 GTR's and 4 r34GTT's...I thought I was in heaven There are a few importers in the area, also compliancers and wreckers too, that all deal with 34's atm...there are also usually advertised cars for sale on the net from the b'rat area! [carpoint etc].

I test drove a nice modified white 34 one too...but it was outta my price range [they wouldnt accept my offer of $37K would you believe?]. Had HKS fully adjustable suspension, 18inch wheels, tommy k stuff etc...I did prefer black, especially when you see them in the flesh, white is nice but black - i just had to have

Nope. Just make sure you give it a thorough checking, like looking for uneven lines in the panels / bonnet etc, look for welds under the bonnet where the quarter panels meet the engine bay. Also look for resprayed panels - usually lighter or darker than the rest of the car...maybe get an racv report on it. Drive it! And then bargain for it - if you want to that is. Price is quite good, but you can probably knock it down a bit - I bought mine from Ballarat too! Oh yeah, and ask the seller if its been in an accident!
