  1. Yes, that car had over 90,000 kms on the clock - or perhaps even more? And from memory it was an auto...[cheaper in japan in auto as this is standard manual is optional cost].
  2. Average [40k] is about right with dealers & resellers, direct imports can be had for as little as 33-35k, though 30k is definately a stretch - that is if you want a 1/2 decent car...
  3. That sounds like the white one, with aftermarket bonnet inc vents, wheels etc...I know who is selling this one too! A nice looking car in the flesh also
  4. You are dreaming if you think you can get any sort of 34 with a turbo for that price! unldess of course it has like 150,000 kms on the clock or it has been welded back together or lastly it was stolen in Japan. BEWARE *anyone trying to buy a 34-turbo this cheap* - there has to be something wrong. I should know, I do months [if not years] of research when buying a car including my latest purchase; a 34 gtt that i just bought in november last year. I do know of a few dodgy operators out ballarat way too! I won't name names for obvious reasons but if anyone is serious about a purchase I may be able to help you steer clear of certain trouble... The problem with chat-forums is that *there is a lot of fiction-based info spread around that has no supporting evidence* dont say you werent warned!

  14. sorry pic / attach didnt work on last post/
  15. Or you could try this: *3 Gauges on top *Air vents *Climate Control *A/M Single din stereo *Centre-console-plastic-compartment-holder-thingy-doova-tray-box *Cig lighter / ash tray... Just an idea ps. the tray fits a mobile / charger / handsfree or small sunnies, but probably not all at once [a single din-sized box]

    No Heat

Do any of you guys know if this stuff is applicable to the r34? It is impossible to find ANY info on the 34  I mean besides a spec sheet... there seems to be a lot of "knowledge" for the 32 / 33 [factory and aftermarket stuff] but not mine...maybe i will have to wait a while until there are more around..?
  17. Thought I would keep this going... Had mine for just on 2 months now
  18. Well done ~K! [my car is missing too ]
  19. Cool, next time I am at my bro's place or even my boss's place, or even just passing through the area I will let you know and weigh my car! [thanks]
  20. Its more like 500 a year in melbourne - but it depends where you live. In rural areas its cheaper! Probably different interstate also. Lethal - where did you weigh your car? Everytime i see a PUBLIC weighbridge they are closed!!! I have never seen one open in 28 years!!! [pizzed off]...I have seen them all over victoria but have never seen one open.
  21. I agree, but not so big though...too hard to get to know people...everyone gets stuck at lights etc when its around the suburbs too! Dont get me wrong, the last cruise was good
  22. The authorities have no idea about weights and specifications. The rego on my 34 says 1250 kgs! I wish It is actually 1410kgs - kerb weight.
  23. hmm, coincidence, i have just spent half the night pulling apart half my engine o check, clean and re-gap the plugs. On the r34 standard gap is 1.0 mm. The current plugs in there are NGK-R PFR6G - 11. Does anyone know which plug this is? They looked like they were put in somewhere in the last 2-3 months [just before i bought the car] but i dont know if these are just copper ones or not? Or if they are the right heat rating [is it the 6 or 11  Any help on this would be good. I have re-gapped them to approx 0.8 > 0.85mm as the car seems to run a bit rich [stock ecu / car / etc]. I am not sure if the 34 should be the same as r33 spark plugs either. Damn finding info on the 34 is a nightmare atm Thanks guys... [sorry about the thesis]

    Atp

yeah, I have seen the booze bus underneath the Sth Eastern fwy bridge on waverley rd, sneaky p****s, and the "hwy" patrol car sits on the other side [nature strip] facing east to get the speeders coming round the corner! [not me ]
