Hey guys
Not sure if this is the right forum but i couldnt see electricals anywhere.
The problem is the earth wire at the relay isnt getting current. All the other wires are getting current. The other day the earth wire was getting a low amount but the car wouldnt start.i did manage to start it by grounding with a screwdriver. But now that wont work as the earth wire isnt getting any current at all. The fuse is good and i swapped the relay but it still wouldnt start. When i turn the key in the ignition the fuel pump continues to run until i take the key out. Its running but i dont think theres any pressure to deliver fuel to the engine. The fuel pump is fine its just the relay. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hey guys
Engine wont start on a full battery and cranks well but doesnt start. Im pretty sure its an ignition problem. All the fuses are good and fuel is getting to the engine.the engine may be flooded but i left it for a few hours before trying to start it up again so i think thats ruled out. Any advice before i go and give my life savings to an autoelectrician?
Ps Sorry for all the questions im a bit of a newbie
The head unit is connected to the amp so it wont turn on and yes there is a fuse on the cable connected to the battery. I checked it and its not blown. It was all working before i disconnected it so i think i wired it up wrong but it seems all good to me.
All fuses are good amp is getting power but not turning on have i missed anything? I disconnected it to check if it was draining the battery and now that i reconnected it, its not turning on! Any suggestions?
Thanks for the advice guys. A shame nothing can be done for the wheels i have now though. I thought i could put coilovers on the back and raise the height so that bigger tyres can fit the rims.
