R33 Fuel Pump Relay Issues

Its most likely on the ecu side because i switched the relay out and the problem remained. -
R33 Fuel Pump Relay Issues
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
No i havent done anything to the ecu. Im not sure why its running continuously. -
Hey guys Not sure if this is the right forum but i couldnt see electricals anywhere. The problem is the earth wire at the relay isnt getting current. All the other wires are getting current. The other day the earth wire was getting a low amount but the car wouldnt start.i did manage to start it by grounding with a screwdriver. But now that wont work as the earth wire isnt getting any current at all. The fuse is good and i swapped the relay but it still wouldnt start. When i turn the key in the ignition the fuel pump continues to run until i take the key out. Its running but i dont think theres any pressure to deliver fuel to the engine. The fuel pump is fine its just the relay. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys Engine wont start on a full battery and cranks well but doesnt start. Im pretty sure its an ignition problem. All the fuses are good and fuel is getting to the engine.the engine may be flooded but i left it for a few hours before trying to start it up again so i think thats ruled out. Any advice before i go and give my life savings to an autoelectrician? Ps Sorry for all the questions im a bit of a newbie

The head unit is connected to the amp so it wont turn on and yes there is a fuse on the cable connected to the battery. I checked it and its not blown. It was all working before i disconnected it so i think i wired it up wrong but it seems all good to me.

Fixing The Rear Camber And Ride Height
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks for the advice guys. A shame nothing can be done for the wheels i have now though. I thought i could put coilovers on the back and raise the height so that bigger tyres can fit the rims. -
Fixing The Rear Camber And Ride Height
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i want to fix the camber and be able to fit tyres onto the rims without having them stretched. The tyres that are on the wheels atm are stretched. The front has coilovers not sure about the back. I dont have adjustable camber arms but im looking into buying some for the back. Im not sure what the wheel specs are. Basically what i want to know is what do i need to fix the rear camber and how to fit the tyres properly. -
Fixing The Rear Camber And Ride Height
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Forgot to mention the car is a r33 -
Hey guys How do i fix the rear camber and raise the ride height? As you can see with the setup i have now the tires dont fit the rims because the car is lowered too much and there is some camber. The front tires are the same but with coilovers so i think i can fix them up its just the back ones that are the problem. Any advice would be most appreciated thanks.

Hey guys, Today morning my r33 skyline cranked but didn't start on a fully charged battery. When it did start it went up to 500rpm then stalled. This doesn't happen when its warm outside so i believe its related to starting in the cold. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Battery Drain Rear Tail Lights
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yeah sorry i should have mentioned that. There are no lights on when its at 96 ma and ive checked some of the wiring round the back seems ok. I think the previous owner stuffed around with them so thats probably where the issue lies. Also i think the battery drains faster when the amp is connected but ive disconnected that for the moment. -
Battery Drain Rear Tail Lights
alexboland replied to alexboland's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
The battery charges fine and there isnt an immobilizer or alarm in the r33. The battery charges fine when i drive the car for awhile. The reason i believe it to the be the tail lights is that when i pulled the fuse for the tail lights the amps draw went from 96ma to about 6 ma -
Battery Drain Rear Tail Lights

Ah I see. Thanks for your help mate. Im just trying to fix this problem myself since auto electricians are quite pricy. So do you think it could be dodge wiring or the immobilizer/alarm thats draining the battery? -
Hey guys, So today i was trying to find out what was draining the battery in my car. Set up the multimeter and turns out it was some dodgy wiring of the tail lights. When i connected the multimeter to the battery terminal about 10 seconds later it went from showing 96 ma to 6 ma. Does this mean the multimeter somehow completes the circuit and there is a loose connection or wire somewhere? If anyone has any answers id be very grateful cheers.
