Everybody is different and I can guarantee that most people with the same car as you will be paying alot more than what you are paying, there are so many variables which determine your premium eg. age, gender, location, driving record, value of car, security etc. In your situation it makes good sense to pay for insurance because its cheap but when it costs me $4k a year for the same then I can see why not everyone can afford it ......cant you?

High flow the turbo or get a new turbs all together. Upgrade fuel system,Cams, Depends how deep your pockets are.

I know those hybrid copy kits for an r33 were fitted to an r32 nicely. Check out the group buy sections or do a search this must have bben discussed somewhere before.

Also check all your clamps on all the hoses connected to radiator, even if there is a small leak the water will still tend to get very hot.

Thanks for the reply, this makes sense, it does sound really bad when cold but once she warms up a bit it goes away.

If you cant check them your self, get some one to check your spark plugs and coil packs this would probably be the main cause of your misfire. My guess would be that one of your coil packs have packed it in.

Yep itll be your BOV mate. Just get it plumbed back to your inlet in between your turbo and air flow meter. Running rich for that split second is also no good for your spark plugs.

Cheers mate, Yeah mines an Xtreme 9 puck single plate ceramic button clutch and a I got it put in about 2 weeks ago, the clutch engages and disengages sweet just a few rattles that im not used to compared to my stocko clutch.

Is it a single plate or multi? And is the clutch plate got a sprung center? I had a new clutch put in recently and have a slight rattle on cold starts which Ive been told is the springs in the clutch plate but Im not sure. Also when Im in reverse and put my foot on the clutch quickly I can also here a clunk quite loud. So your not the only one.

Yeah I thought it may be the springs and tha t sort of makes sense.

Hows it goin everybody? Just wondering if anybody can help me? I just installed a new 9 puck ceramic single plate clutch, which works fine but on cold starts I can hear a rattle when my foot is feathering the clutch a bit. This sound disapears when it heats up after a few minutes. Any ideas of what this could be or is it normal? the clutch itself works like a charm. Its an Xteme DCBHD 9 puck ceramic sprung centre. Any response from people with the same clutch would be appreciated. Cheers.

I dont think there is much in it between the two coolers but youll pay a little more for a GTR cooler and they will both work well. I think youll have to be more concerned with organising the piping for the GTR kit you ll prob have to get it made up, where as the Hybrid kit comes with everything all together. The way the inlet and outlet pipes are designed are different. The GTR cooler inlet and outlet fold back a little from memory where as the Hybrid just stick straight out from the cooler. This something you will have to take into consideration when organising the piping kit. As for the whistling, not all of them whistle.
