Hi Mona hows it goin? Well from what I hear it was mainly body damage that occured, so your random thief prob wouldnt have stolen it cos of this but to someone that knew that it was a fast car with good parts on it the damage would have been a minor issue plus if they were watching and saw the damage occur at ec it would confirm it was the same car (apart from the plates). But I might be completely wrong and Im sure the owner of EAV-00L doesnt want to hear this. Ps so was that you in SPEED?

Dont know how much a set of new headlights cost but im gonna get some of that maguires shit for sure.

its not the vacuum pipe its a fair bit bigger. Ive got a manual so it might be abit different but I assume its the same.

yep sounds like it, I think it connects to your inlet pipe from your afm/air filter, just reconnect that if you can, if you cant buy another BOV that will, youll lose the sound but whats more important...performance or rice.

The plumbing from your original standard BOV should be still hanging there so hook that up and get some brackets to secure it so it doesnt leak and I bet your problem is solved. Basically your AFM gets tricked when your Bov vents and thinks that your throttle is still open therefore it momentarily runs rich and stalls the engine. I would imagine it might be worse on auto cars as you dont have as much control on gears shifts. PS get a manual :headspin:

do you have an atmospheric BOV? These tend to cause stalling therefore you lose power steering etc.

sounds like a leak somewhere? What type of brake fluid are you using?

I read in a previous thread somewhere, it may have to do with your crank angle sensor but I read it while ago and I might be completely wrong, but another avenue that you can explore/check.

Youve only given the size of the intercooler and not the size of the piping. My guess is that it is the same light weight alluminium piping that is going around which is 2.5 ". So youll need silicone reducers to fit to the actual cooler. Are you in Sydney?

The stainless piping kit that was in the pdf Raf sent has 3" to 2.5" silicone reducers for the inlet and outlet so I think the pipes are 2.5 inches, can any one confirm?
