A stock Gtir does around 14.2 sec on the quarter and the best mods for them are the same as any Jap Turbo ie FMIC, dump pipe, exhaust, pod filter, ebc set at 1.2 bar, fuel pump, power FC and coil overs should get you started. The good thing about those cars are that the stock turbo (T28) isnt limited by the ceramic exhaust turbine that skylines are, so you can push them a fair bit harder. From my understanding all Pulsar Gtirs have quad throttle bodies and solid lifters.

If you read the above thread you should get a good idea of what prices youll have to pay however it all comes down to what your driving record is like, your age, your area, the value of the car amongst other things. Going from a non turbo to a turbo will be more expensive, that I can be sure of. :headspin:

G'day mate I recently saw on Nengun.com that they have a kit which includes the HKS GT RS turbo along with four injectors, power fc and controller and GT RS kit for the RB25DET brand new for about $4800 delivered. Quite a fair whack of cash but you are getting avery good package at a very competitive price, Im trying to put the cash together myself as we speak. :headspin:

I dont think they are that light, my dads xr6 turbo ute weighs in at about 1700 kgs. I keep up to him in my 33 quite easily but then its not a v8.
