Your car runs rich for a split second due to BOV venting to atmosphere, you need to plumb it back into the rubber pipe going to the afm. there should already be a spot where the standard bov was plumbed back.

With that kind of money youd be wasting time trying to chase that power figure out of an rb20, Rb26dett wil get there so much easier with less headaches. Its up to you.

Are you still running standard computer? If so this happens alot when you raise the boost and put a frontmount on so you need to tune your fuel mixtures.

Check that it hasnt siezed whilst being out of the car and make sure it has strong vacuum with no leaks. Thats all that I can think of.

Is it internally wastegated? Yes you will need a front mount intercooler if you wanna run the turbo to its potential aswell as new fuel pump, pressure reg, injectors and most importantly a computer ie power fc other wise it would be a waste of time. If it needs an external wastegate you will need new exhaust manifold and wastegate. I wouldnt do it unless you ve done it before.

I had a similar prob where my car was just sculling fuel, its cos of the standard computer. I got a fuel controller and had it tuned and it fixed the prob, now a full tank lasts me ages. It not only uses less fuel but i get more power aswell due to leaning out of the mixtures. Get an SAFC or PFC or similar this will fix your prob.

I fiited my FMIC a couple of weeks ago in my garage with a mate, I had the cheap ass blue alloy pipes and a fake hybrid cooler, with a bit of patience it fitted perfectly, you will need a 3 inch hole saw and some basic tools. The trimming of the front bar is the most difficult to get perfect you just have to to it bit by bit. The cooler works perfectly with no leaks and im very happy with the purchase. you will need to trim the fan blades back alittle to clear the top pipe. Heres a Pic:

2k sounds about right, but theres heaps of variables they look at to determine this ie age, previous claims, area you leave the car,driving record etc etc. How old are you? if your under 25 this is cheap. And if you got 30-40 k pay out what are you worried about?

I reckon the V35 GTR will look quite different compared to the coupe any way. Im thnk ink that the V35 coupe is like the gtst version of hte old gtr. Expect the famous stove lights and flared guards........something to look forward to in 2007 (I hope).

Nothing sounds better than a Ferrari V8 at high revs NOTHING!! eg 360 Modena or 355.

The wastegate actuator controls the amount of boost that is pushed through the turbo by pushing excess exhaust gases through the wastegate. The harder the spring is the harder it will be to open the wastegate thus controlling boost.
