Can anyone give me some info on what I should do with the "dual mass" flywheel on the R34 GTR when fitting a new clutch? The standard clutch is slipping badly - getting a stronger clutch to suit isn't a problem, but according to one supplier this flywheel should be "ground", not machined. Other suppliers have suggested fitting a lighter flywheel, (or doing nothing to the current one). The dual mass flywheel (made by LuK) was fitted to reduce wear on the gearbox and improve gearchanging etc when Nissan went with the 6sp Getrag box. (This is a daily car, so I don't want a dual plate or button clutch.)
Thanks for any advice.
