  1. Having some trouble uploading new pictures but here they are : Hi Michael, sorry we really don't need any more cars now (6!). Byebye, sorry for the delay. I'll post some interior pictures tomorrow. Had my camera fixed.
  2. OK I'll check it out thanks.
  3. Not sure about that, that could be for the newer cars like the new GTR otherwise no one can sell their imported cars anymore if that was the case.
  4. New price $15,000, I want to sell the car off as I'm no longer using it. If anyone is scared off by my honest description please don't show me your car, I pick out imperfection very well :-)
  5. Some updates (in BOLD) : Make: Nissan Model: Skyline R32 GTR Milage: 95,446 kms Transmission: 5 speed manual Colour: Gunmetal Location: SE Suburbs, Melbourne Victoria. Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Yes (upon sale) Currently registered? Yes (ends in June 2009) Price: $17,000 Contact: 043-226-1294 or email : [email protected] Comments / Modifications: No other changes. Its a great car and I will miss it as I'm going overseas again. Would like to sell it before end of January, thanks!
  6. Really? I've no idea about the R33 or R34, that might have explained why the seats still looks so good!
  7. Hi guys, I'm back from the UK for a while and the car (still in the garage) is still for sale. Willing to negotiate as we need to clear the garage and I'm not driving it any more!
  8. New price of $17,000 (registration will expire soon in March). I know there are ads of GTRs selling cheaply which doesn't really do justice to this legendary car. This car belongs to a genuine owner and has never been thrashed. Like they say, you get what you pay for.
  9. Scratches at the back (on the boot and on "Skyline", the rest is dust), I know you can't see it well but just to let you know its there : I would do a full respray because I'm picky, but because I'm leaving Australia for good in 3 weeks and a respray would jack the price up to $25,000, I don't have the time. I think you younger guys would be better off getting this car while it is affordable and tinker with it to your own liking. R1Titan - I'm leaving Australia so having another car in the garage with no one to drive it isn't going to be useful :-) If you're selling the WRX for a GTR I don't think you will regret it as there is no car like it. A GTR is like a fighter plane. NG0387 - The car will still be for sale when I'm gone. If any questions please e-mail, good luck.
  10. Amir - Do you want a Mazda Wagon or a Suzuki Cappuccino? jaysevu - Actually the scratches are not too bad (some bubbles on the front and scratches around "SKYLINE" at the back). I think you can just respray the front and rear spoilers. Most of the old cars for sale probably had a respray which is why they look so new. No damages and I have the log books.
  11. Some pictures in Japan : In Australia :
  12. I will be adding some pictures soon.
  13. Make: Nissan Model: Skyline R32 GTR Milage: 95,446 kms Transmission: 5 speed manual Colour: Gunmetal Location: SE Suburbs, Melbourne Victoria. Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Yes (upon sale) Currently registered? Yes (ends in Mar 2008) Price: $17,000 Contact: 0421-288-722 or email : [email protected] Comments / Modifications: Engine - None, has an Apexi filter (installed by original owner) Body - None, fully stock Interior - Has an Apexi boost reader and MOMO steering (installed by original owner) Others - Has an aftermarket exhaust and SSR 17" wheels (also installed by the original owner) Reason for selling - Financial difficulties. I bought the car in Japan about 3 years ago for work and imported it myself in 2005/2006. The car is very much standard and I have not put on any modifications since the original (Japanese) owner. I am the second owner and the original log books are still with me. I'm a car fan but not a racing driver so I didn't buy my car for speed but purely for the driving experience. The body condition IMO is not perfect as there are scratches here and there due to age (its a 91 model and its mostly the rear and front bumper spoilers). I am willing to negotiate on the price but seriously with a new paint job you could probably do a better job of selling this car than me. I've really enjoyed having this car as it is a pleasure to drive, unfortunately due to financial difficulties I have to sell it (I also have 2 more family cars to get rid off). Good luck.
  14. http://www.nismo.co.jp/shop/shop/omori/eng...html#info_turbo This is the S1 engine. Just wondering what's so special about it.
  15. I've seen some GTRs with S1 engines, according to Nismo they have around 400ps which is not all that significant compared to what one can do to increase power. Are they overrated or something special?
  16. I hear this spluttering or popping noises when I'm downshifting or slowing down. I only seem to notice it when I brought my car back to Australia, and its still there when I had the exhaust changed (though not as bad). The mechanic told me that this is normal on most cars, just amplified on Skylines. Is that true?
  17. Here's a picture of it. I think its made by Kyu.
  18. I have aftermarket suspensions fitted by the previous owner back in Japan. The name of these suspensions are called "Gear Climb", something like these : http://homepage1.nifty.com/tuningweb/image/kyb/kybesGC.jpg I'm not sure on the model numbers and type, but it doesn't look like the Tein suspension on my other car (which I know how they can be adjusted). My question is, how do I adjust these suspensions?
  19. Haha! I bet. I have been followed a couple of times, scary stuff!
  20. The other day I saw 3 skylines. 2 R32s weaving in and around traffic on Springvale road, and an R33 GTR turning right into waverly road(?). Not sure if they were a group, but driving together can sometimes raise the adrenaline a little bit. Do take it easy and try not to give other Skyline owners a bad rep. Informer (who has been getting strange feedbacks for driving his R around).
  21. I have to agree with FM. Sydney roads are ridiculous, try Paramatta road! (no offense sydney people). But, I feel they drive a bit slower than Victorians (thus safer). I find Victorian drivers to be a bit too fast and impatient on the roads, mainly because the roads are nice and wide. Japanese roads by comparison are usually quite rough and occupied by traffic, so people don't really drive all that fast but they can still drive recklessly (like through the red light or not looking for pedestrians when they turn).
  22. I don't hear much of people stripping the entire paint off, that is an extremely rare case and I would say that it would cost too much money that's why people just go for the basic stripping and something for the paint to stick. Respray can cost anywhere from $700 to $3000, for standard work (again depending on the paint and work required to the body). I did my car for around $1000 to make it a little darker and fix up scratches and dents.
  23. Don't want to add fuel to the fire but 2K for a paint job is not out of the question. It all depends on a few things : - quality of the paint itself - any coating involved? - how it is used and how much (I never knew that respray uses so little paint) - any body work done prior to the respray I think for some body work and a typical respray, $2k would be reasonable. I hear of people paying $4k and above. Quite frankly if they are using paint that doesn't chip, doesn't crack, doesn't bubble, prevents door dings, keying then I would be first in line for such a paint. I see no point paying so much when our cars are still so vulnerable to crap happening at car parks.
  24. I've been using BP the few time, then Otimax yesterday. I'll see how it runs. Car definitely needs a tune. Can anyone recommend a shop in the SE suburbs (Victoria)?
