Hey guys,
So I believe I have snapped my timing chain in my 350gt vq35.
I had some timing chain rattle and replaced the main tensioner. However half an hour into driving my car it completely died.
Upon inspections I looked into the opening where you remove the tensioner gave the car a quick crank and the chain did not move.
This has led me to believe that I have installed the tensioner incorrectly and snapped my chain.
So my question is what sort of damage can I expect from the chain snapping?
Also second part if anyone know a good mechanic in the lilydale Vic area I would be very appreciative?
Thanks
