  1. R33 GTSt S2 Tomei headgasket ARP studs Tomei 256 poncams Performance Valvesprings Gt3076r-wg 1000cc injectors Powered by a Link G4+ plugin Needs crank trigger kit 496whp on E85 20psi 460whp on P98 18psi
  2. Got her back today! Super stoaked with the results. Was exactly 1yr since my last tune same dyno etc. E85/20psi left 98/18psi right. Needs a crank trigger as timing is wandering all over the joint. Car pulls super strong and smooth with the new ecu controlling the boost.
  3. Got my head back today, really happy with how it came up! New springs, stem seals and a little bit of a tickle to clean up castings. Managed to get it on today, got tomorrow off as well so hopefully get the manifolds on. Just waiting on my lifters to be bled and then I can throw them in with the cams. Should be running by saturday if theres no problems..
  4. Ok so f**k you photobucket... Havent updated cause to lazy to find another photo host... Bought a cooler panel from GKtech, extra 50kw and looks good 8) And then this happened.... http://imgur.com/8x8UQS8[/img] http://imgur.com/MZyOhS4[/img] http://imgur.com/irF9BLn[/img] Dropped her off at the machinist to get cleaned up and checked ready to drop back on when I get back from NZ tonight, so will pick up the head tomorrow and start throwing her back together this week and drop her down to get the Link G4+ installed and tuned on the 4th Also ordered a genuine timing kit and a Gates waterpump to install while im in there. Will be a few bits and pieces ill be putting in as well. Super keen to see how she goes with cams and more boost. Will be punching my cat out as well to assist in reducing backpressure/adding gains!
  5. Definitely just go solids man, mine are still fine I'm running poly subframe and rear diff bushes with solid pinion bushes
  6. Few pics from Friday Night, went out for a cruise and had a bit of fun!
  7. Yeah 180km/h is definitely good for a low 12. Just gotta practice your launches. You get it close to a 2.0-2.1 should get your around mid 12. 18psi should have plenty of grip at the strip still. Maybe youre slipping the clutch too much off the line? I found I had to slip it a little and let it straight out otherwise I'd bake first and then second. Also run my coilovers on softest setting, well 2 clicks off.
  8. Man the cooling panel looks mint! I'm gonna have to get one for mine soon I think! What tyres and alignment are you running? I managed a 1.8 60ft with my 255 RS3's coming off the line with 12psi. Have you tried letting your tyres down? I think I ran that with about 16psi in mine.
  9. So my Nankang NS2R's aren't the greatest from my experience so far. When cold they are terrible, definitely need a bit of heat in them to grip up (not good for a daily). They are the 180 treadwear version, I'd expect the 120 version to hook up a lot better. Not sure if its my new alignment setup or not but I went for a run and it's stepping out at 120-130km/h when i hit full boost in 3rd. Will throw the RS3's back on sometime and see if they do the same thing. On the other hand I bought a Link G4+ today that was for sale cheap so I jumped on it. After driving my mates recently tuned 33 with a Link I have to upgrade from the Nistune. Now I just have to wait until I get back from NZ in September to pull the head off and get it machined and slap all the good bits in with it and retune on the Link! Super keen to see how much better it runs with the link along with the cams and more boost!
  10. I saw your car down at the tuners when I picked up my mates 33 today! Looks awesome man, keen to see what it does on a proper tune
  11. Took her in for a wheel alignment yesterday. Extended my traction rods 10mm and running -1* camber and 0mm toe each side. Hopefully hooks up a lot better now. Will find out tonight at Roll Racing how it goes with these Nankang ns2r's on the rear.
  12. Got the new diff bushes in and it drives great now! Can't tell any difference in noise from them but it doesnt slap around anymore which means its quieter ? Heres the old bushes, same thing must have happened with the old ones but top ring must have come out. Serviced her and threw the new beanie on for Roll Racing lastnight but was cancelled due to rain Found out that they wound my traction rods back in when I got an alignment so I'll get the rear realigned and get the traction rods pushed out 10mm and run -1* camber instead of -1.5*. Fingers crossed it'll get my power down after that and run some lower numbers down the quarter
  13. Yeah well thats what I would have thought too haha... Anyway these came yesterday will fit them up these next couple of days and go down to get some camber taken out. Also ordered a turbo beanie which should be here today or tomorrow
  14. They were fine, I'm thinking it could be because I put the Nismo LSD in? All the hopping and shit from it could have cause it.
  15. I'm not sure, definitely something wrong as the same thing happened on both sets. I have ordered a diff bush kit from Gktech and also a poly gearbox mount. Hopefully get it all in before Roll Racing this Saturday.
  16. So I just checked my pinion bushes anddddd it's done the same thing... Looks like ill have to get some solid bushes in there...
  17. Yeah cheers man, really happy with how it went and the new look! Nfi with the front bushes, I need to check them to see if they haven't done it again. If it has i'll be going to solid front bushes.. On another note I'm still losing slight traction in 2nd. I'm gonna take it down to get 0.5-1 degree of camber out of the rear which should hopefully allow me to hook up a bit better. Ill take it down the strip after winternats and see how she goes!
  18. Cheers boys! My wheelnuts also turned up on monday so through them on as well to add a bit of bling Went down to the Torquetime Alljap Dyno Day today and thought I'd throw her on to see what she'd do on a different dyno.
  19. Had some time to kill today so went and got some tail light tint and went to town on the hideous clear led tail lights. Turned out alright and makes the car look heaps better!
  20. Got the Nankang NS-2Rs put on the rear. Fills the guards way better. I could only get the 180 treadwear rating ones for some reason.... They are f**ked when theyre cold, so slippery. Seem to be ok when theyre warm. Still haven't tested them properly yet though. Will probably go out to willowbank on Wednesday for a run with my mate who just got his 33 tuned.
  21. Probably one of my favourite pics of the car! Have decided I'm going to try a set of Nankang NS-2R's on the 18's in a 265/35r18. Might put the 235 proxes that are on the rear up front for now and if the Nankang's are good ill throw a set up front in 235 or 245.
  22. Cheers man! Yeah I have a set of stock tail lights at home but I'm too lazy to pull them out and change them ?
  23. Just a small update... Finally got my windows tinted. Nice 15% on it, looks heaps better and now my right arm won't get as much of a tan ? Also got a set of Work Emotion CR-Kai's in 18x8.5 +35 fronts and 18x9.5 +38 rears. 100x better than my other wheels. Just need to get some good rubber on em! Any recommendations? Thinking about just going RS3s again as they've performed really well. 245 fronts and 265 rear should look good on them Will look a pulling my head off and get it all reco'd with the new cams, studs, gasket etc at tax time. Still not sure if I wanna give the nistune another chance or just go to a link g4 straight up. The idle hunting and stalling is really pissing me off and also cold start is a bitch now.
  24. Yeah got anti lag on set at 4k. Can't do WOT launch though haha. Think I'm launching with 10 or 12 pound boost. That 11.7 run was at about 3/4 throttle in first then WOT in 2nd.
  25. Mine was always in the 2s before Wednesday night! Then with new alignment and bushes did my first 1.9 and 1.8. I actually was slipping the clutch too long and it was just hitting full boost and spinning the tyres. So I slip it quick to get off the line and then it kinda bogs and then off we go. I can only go about 3/4 throttle off the line otherwise it still axle tramps like a mofo. I will upload the video after work today. I ran my RS3's at 16psi aswell. I also did that on coilovers set almost fully soft.
