  1. Small update, turbos all plumbed up. Had a slight leak on the fuel rail fittings, got some teflon washers for them yesterday and it fixed the leak So today pretty much everything is hooked up now. It's going down to the tuner tomorrow to have hotside piping, install fuel pump, HPX MAF Wiring and then FLEX TUNE TIME!! Depending how much this costs me might lower her a bit more and get a wheel alignment before Downshift circuit and coffee on Saturday morning.
  2. Cheers fellas, bit more progress! Yesterday all my hose clamps turned up so started putting a few of those on. I got my exhaust gaskets on and oil lines in! Tomorrow I have to pop the water lines in and that's complete! Got the fuel system all plumbed in today, decided to just do it properly the first time and get a Turbosmart FPR800. Rearranged a few things to fit the flex sensor down there. Pretty happy with how its sitting atm! Few more days and she should be all ready to go down to the tuner! Will grab some better pics tomorrow during the day.
  3. Yeah it's all happening pretty fast! So keen to get it back on the street! Quick update, picked up my intake today from welder. Swapped my 3/4 injectors for some 1/2 size Xspurt 1000cc's which got the job done. Had to cut the spacers and bolts down to suit the 1/2 size injectors.
  4. Yeah I don't see any point going for one except for cleaning the engine bay up or going for BIG power. I shouldn't have any clearance issues with the raceworks rail... Fair enough, see how it goes i guess. Will mostly be running 98 anyway unless I'm heading down to the track or cruising.
  5. Couple more pics of the dump without turbo on... Picked up my Raceworks fuel rail today, will get cracking on that tomorrow morning.. Decided to go down and grab some intercooler piping today and this happened! Took it down to a fabricator and got it welded up! Had to turn the rocker breather things around 180* and it cleared perfectly Not bad for $145 and a couple hours. Just have to get a bit of pipe and get it welded on for the hose going to the IAC. Intake is a bit shit to fit it with the fuel canister there and pod hits slightly on back of headlight.
  6. Picked her up yesterday from Rob Bliss! Super stoked with the new dump setup! Bit devo they didn't use v-band clamps for the removable screamer but oh well. Swapping fuel rail for a raceworks one, pick it up sometime this morning so hopefully get that all installed today and go get some lines and fittings and hook it all up with the flex sensor.
  7. Yeah ran into that issue haha.... Swapping it for a raceworks rail. Hopefully pick it up today or tomorrow morning and wack the injectors in. Gotta go grab some fittings and hose to run the fuel lines to the new rail. She's down the shop atm for dump and gate, will be done this arvo sometime. Once the rail's in it'll be down to the tuner to get my intake and intercooler piping done and flex wiring and shit then flex tune!
  8. Bit of an update, have just been enjoying driving the 33 around after I installed my clutch! Picked up a new head unit CHEAP and got that going.. Just need a decent set of speakers and an underseat sub and I'll be happy. Also got a 3" high flow cat installed last week. Noticed a bit smoother power delivery compared to the stock one. Picked up the rest of my fuel system last week. Raceworks 1000cc EV14s, HFPF Fuel Rail and clips to suit new injectors. These bad boys turned up this morning from NISTUNE! HPX MAF, Air Straightener, Flex Fuel Sensor and all the wiring and boards to suit! New Exhaust Gaskets.. So today I pulled the stock turbo and manifold off and threw on the new high mount setup! Goes down to the shop tomorrow to get the gate flange welded one and also dump pipe made up. Stock turb vs New one Pulled the injectors out today as well and attempted to install my new 1000cc's and Fuel rail. Ran into a clearance problem with the top bung on the stock manifold. Waiting to hear back to see whether I change rails or not.
  9. Woooooo! Mani finally turned up this morning Also picked up this today Direct Clutch Services Twin plate. Came out of a mates 800hp r33 gtst, almost brand new. No the other plate isn't missing, just forgot to take the pic. Gotta get the gate vband welded on then take it down to be ceramic coated and get the dump made to suit
  10. Soo I hit 140k on the clock the other day! Unfortunately no birthday presents.... Because I'm still waiting on my f**********n manifold..... After 5 f**kin weeks..... I went through Torqueline Garage because CRG had so eftpos facility (wtf?) and apparently there has been a "bank error" and CRG haven't received the money from Torqueline, so CRG haven't sent it out yet! Mega pissed.... I know it'll be worth it when I have it but 5 weeks for a manifold is ridiculous... Quick snap from the other day. I just checked and didn't update that I plastidipped my wheels! Just did it so I could get an idea of what colour I wanted to get them powder coated/painted. Not much else is happening atm, but when my mani gets here it's full steam ahead! I have ordered my Walbro 460 E85 pump and Tomei reg so hopefully they get in soon, then Rail and Injectors once the mani and turbo are sitting on the car.
  11. Well yeah decided to not go the z32 route. Hahah are they really that bad?
  12. Yeah I have but I'm not getting a new piping kit when I've already got one just need the crossover done. I won't be running a BOV either but tuner said it might cause stalling issue which was another reason for going the HPX MAF. Yeah looks like I can get em cheaper locally. $45 for a set of 6.
  13. Only paid $150 for em Guy I bought em off was running 300rwkw at 18.5psi so we will see how they go. If they can't keep up then I'll just sell em and get 2 more splitfires to complete my set..... Still waiting on my mani from CRG... Almost been a month now, they have said it will be out their door on Tuesday latest. Then gotta throw mani and turbo on and customize my dump to suit new gate then send them off the be ceramic coated Been talking with my tuner and decided to f**k the AFM off and go a HPX MAF with the Nistune, that way I'll be able to run a 4" intake as well. Need to find someone cheap to fab that up and also a new crossover pipe so it doesn't obstruct that high mount Tuner quoted me about $350-400 to do the 4" intake and weld the MAF bung on, need to get a price on the crossover pipe still. I've also sold my 550cc side feeds and going straight up 1000cc Bosch EV14s with a Raceworks Billet Rail and Tomei Reg. Anyone know where to get some cheap plugs for the injectors?
  14. Yeah mate still have the GV, dailying that around now haha! Haha dam thats sweet, I've only blocked it off with a coke can Little update, mani should be here this week, got myself some YJ's and popped em in. Did a comp test while i was in there too. Bit sketchy but all above board. Tested 170-170-170-155-160-155
  15. So I picked up this turbo for my 33 a few weeks ago now and was doing some research on it and found that it's not a proper gt3076? Its a "3076" .82 rear but has a .70 a/r comp housing. CHRA P/N is 700177-5011 Can anyone tell me a bit about it? Is it worth keeping or should I sell it and buy a proper gt/gtx3076r? Gid
  16. CRG manifold is ordered! Picked the gate up! Can anyone tell me if running ceramic coated rear housing and a turbo beanie is bad? Should I just go ceramic only?
  17. Cheers fellas! Bov is blocked and calling fellow pigeons already I know.... i already have no money CRG mani gets ordered today and pick up the gate
  18. Our drag, I couldn't get the bloody thing off the line (brand new tyres on 40psi didn't help).. Can hear me slip the clutch to get her going. 2.5 0-60ft time, end up running a 14.96, he ran 14.93...............
  19. Cheers Sinista! Really happy with it, can't wait to get the turbo on and tuned! Couple pics of me and my mates 33... Heading out for a Mt Mee run! When he wrapped it around a pole after the drags.... Lucky he is alive. You can only see the clutch pedal..
  20. Then this is where the good stuff started Picked up this bad boy for $1000 with lines and dump pipe! GT3076R EWG .82 rear.... Gave her a much needed service and threw the green shiz I got with the car when I bought it on! Doesn't look too bad... Couldn't resist doing this.... That's all for now, but I have a CRG Highmount coming in the next few weeks, picking up a Turbosmart Hypergate 45 Thursday, ordering fuel pump and z32 AFM Plug next week then should be almost ready to go into the shop for a nistune and dyno tune!
  21. Next mod was a Greddy Profec EBC! Installed her in a stealthy spot (boost gauge was mounted here by previous owner :S). Wound the boost up to 9-10pound (was hitting R&R with anymore) and was a heap better! Then Picked up some Highflowed 550cc Injectors (Sold to me as Nismo 740s........). Still ok for what I wanted but not the point. Got them cleaned, rebuilt and flow tested! Rear Hicas joints were fkd so thought I might as well just totally eliminate the Hicas system from the rear end and bought these. Still need to get around to putting them in when I can be bothered... Was looking for a split dump for a while and then this came up for $100 so had to jump on it! Installed that and noticed a bit more low-mid range torque. Ordered these off ebay and got the trim colour matched! Turned out sweeeet!
  22. First week I had her I picked up a second hand set of pedders coilovers for $550! I fitted them up along with some adjustable cambers arms all round... This was basically the end result. Got guards rolled, 245 rear tyres and wheel alignment and another 10mm dropped in the rear. Went out and took a few more pics with new stance Me and a mate after the drags, he unfortunately wrote it off in the rain 2 hours later....
  23. Hey guys and gals! I'm Gideon, pretty new to the forum. Picked up my 33 almost 2 months ago now and absolutely love it! Thought I better start a build thread before shit starts getting hectic Picked it up for $6500 with a couple months rego, 132,000kms, I'm the 3rd owner in aus, few basic mods (FMIC, pod, exhaust). The night I picked her up Gave her a bit of a clean and took a couple pics with a half decent camera!
  24. Chasing some 450cc+ RB25 Side feed injectors! Cheers
