  1. i still have the new one in its packaging
  2. here are some photos of the 2nd hand oil pump. i had no issues with it on my car. seemed to be running fine, but as you can see from the photos it was fitted to my car without a crank collar. and a mild witness mark from where it was rubbing on my crank. it is still a bit oily and has the remains of the old gaskit that has been half pulled off. my car has done 128,xxx kms. but has been replaced some where in its life. before coming to australia. i would guess it was done when the timing belt and water pump was done. the sticker on my engine said that was done at 92,433kms.

  4. my car pulled 234.9rwkw on 12psi. before my rebuild. hoping to break the 300rwkw mark when its all together
  5. cheers gun32gtr! cubes yeah extremely happy with the guys up at blackwood. im glad i did take my car there as they have offered alot and been really good to me. did reserch into issuse with the oil flow in the engine and fixing it. im not to sure of they dude that ya were talking bout, but was his name mike?
  6. well its now been months since i drove my car...and i miss it!! mid last year it dropped the bottom end while i was giving it a bit of curry! after a few months of it sitting in the shed i decided to take it up to blackwood dyno tune. tunred out that the knocking was the piston connecting the with the head. it was all sent off to be tested and lucky for me there was no damage and facing the head cleaned it up nicely as well as all the other things they did to it. the block was bored 20thou over and cleaned up nicely. dropped some eagle H beams rods and acl race series pistons in there and they were all balanced up. new oil and water pumps. sump baffle kits. too much for me to remember the only photo igot, i was wanting to take more but didnt ge the chance to heap happy with blackwood, they have dont an awsome job and a great price. checked with me if there was any uncertanties with what i wanted. didnt mind me dropping in when ever i wanted to have a look at how its comming along! just thought i would put up a little bit of a summery of how my car was comming along, as i hav had a couple people asking me how it is coming along. only weeks away now!
  7. common guys... i will now consider all reasonale offers
  8. GTR's didnt come with eye level brake lights. they should have been fitted at compliancing. they are easy to fit ya self anyways
  9. common guys they are worth more than this if you want to buy them through a business. it is a great option for a rebuild that is going to see alot more power
  10. common guys, what no one doing a rebuild?? make a reasonable offer and i will consider it
  11. Ok guys finally got it back from the workshop as they decided now that they didnt want to use it in my rebuild, they had some better ideas so anyway its up for sale again and i have it with me this time. Pictures: As you can see still in the packaging! I am after $400 firm (postage at buyer expence, if needed to post) happy to organise a pick up if locally around adelaide or south of adelaide area. if anyone is interested i have a 2nd hand N1 oil pump($150 + postage) has some slight witness marks in the drive off my car and also a OEM water pump($135 + postage) looks to be in reasonably good condition. if anyone is interested in these to thingsi can arrange to pick them up and organise photos of them cheers
  12. hope they are still around when my engine rebuild is finished. keen for one. how are they attached, bolts or glue
  13. make sure u pay attention to the oil return in your engine. or if you drive it hard for a period of time it may drop the bottom end like mine did. especially running a high flow oil pump
  14. yeah i have gone the eagle rods, well the workshop decided to use them as my standard rods were buggered
  15. went the forgies
  16. R32 weight is 1480kg, R33 1520 and R34 1540(just the plain GTR models) well according to my hpi mag but the new hsv GTS commo's(6.0L) do 0-100kmph in 4.9 secs apparently, thats a lil scary for a standard V8
  17. r34 gtr's only weigh 1540kg's i thought
  18. say i do buy these nice eagle or spool rods...will they need prep'ing? will the cost be any different to prep'ing the standard things??
  19. give him a chance, rolling start at 60kmph! thats my favourite when lining up agains 5.7L. that was only with 235rwkws cant wait to get my car back muhahaha with a fresh engine and more boost maybe a haltech looking maybe 300rwkws hehe! i can line up a new 6.0L
  20. i kno power fc are cheaper i owned 1 for a bit, but i want something a bit different like the haltech and where im getting my car done they specoalise is haltechs and will do a goo deal for it
  21. my budget is about 10k, would have be fine and could have dropped h beams in if they didnt find a few other things wrong. so now i need to do the best possible for the cheapest!!! with the power figure still in mind
  22. so looks like standard rods are stronger then i first through. i may just use a new set of 26 rods in my rebuild then. save me 2 grand and buy a haltech insted
