The other issue I guess is that il have to keep approx $400 aside for when I snap a bolt to get off, everyone I have spoken to has said that the bolts will def snap.
-
Hey Borci88 A contact of mine mentioned that today. It's just doing my head in for something that should be so simple. But I guess when we start modifying it should be expected.
-
Due to pull it out soon, might try the "no gasket" and see how it goes. Will see how it all looks along with a new spacer as well
-
Ummm from memory it had to be a minimum 10mm spacer so I went with that option. Yeah might pay to ask them I guess.

New spacer on the way [emoji106]

Had it for about 7 months running standard... but yes I've been told that also.

Hi all, Looking for some feedback before I head down the expensive road of ripping off my exhaust manifold. So I upgraded the std snail to a hypergear ATR43SS2 with relevant supporting mods, so far I have managed 16psi out of it, hit a brick wall due to slipping clutch on dyno and some other small issues, so a majority of the issues are all fixed bar one that is really driving me nuts as I want it sorted before it goes back on to crank it up. So I'm having issues with the gaskets that sit between the spacer and the manifold, so far have gone through three different type of gaskets that all just keep blowing out, one lasted about a week with relatively easy driving, one two days then the other about two weeks. I've been told numerous fixes / could be caused to the issue. The last resort is rip it off and check the surface of the manifold then if all fine to have it welded, I'm a little reluctant to pull it off as I know il be up for re-tapping the bolts etc etc. Wondering if anyone has any feedback.

Same issue on my R33 S2 Timing belt done at 140ks, factory belt... Purred like a kitten before. Approx week after getting it back it developed the exact same noise. Was told that it maybe evident prior to even getting done and sure enough it turned up a week later. As we all find out OEM just can't be beaten for it. Pretty sure mine was a gates belt.

Following ! Similar thing happening to my R33 S2. Directly around the TB. Haven't played around with the idle screw but when under acceleration the "hissing" noise disappears.

Thanks Dose, I've read a few of your reviews and feedback regarding them. Il ponder a little more and go from there. The top feed option just means more funds out the pocket [emoji23] -

It's def a mixed bag of responses of using re-manufactured side feeds that's for sure. -

Yeah well I am now kind of leaning towards that way. I was really hoping to avoid the whole top feed rail installation etc etc. -

Completely understand how they market them as Jecs and then they are high flowed etc, also understand that they are "oldish" technology, the same "oldish" technology that 33 owners were using 4-5+ years ago. Considering I was running S15 side feeds I am hoping for recent feedback of any members who have recently installed / used and had them tuned. As I am running a Nistune board I already anticipate a new tune will be on the cards also. -
Hi All, Injector issue so time to change out. Was using S15 side feeds which served their purposes well, sprung a leak. Would rather purchase new as I have had a decent run out of them. Looking at going JECs 550s or higher. I know this widely debated but I don't want to go to a top feed rail. Regardless I know I am up for a re-tune so was hoping to hear any recent feedback regarding them before I take the plunge. Old reviews have a mixed bag of feedback regarding them.

Low / Faint beeping Noise R33 S2
ADM33T replied to ADM33T's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yes that's the stumping part. Only when the car is on it beeps. It's comes from around the steering column. I'm going to spend some more time on it as I noticed the greddy control boxes are shoved around in there ( I assume control boxes for boost and oil temp gauge ) I seem to have a sneaky suspicion it may be either of them cause that's the only items in the vicinity. Also ripped out the turbo timer and still doing it. -

So I pulled the turbo timer all out... Guess what ???? Still beeping. Any other suggestions ? Thanks -

Anyone ??? It's still happening and just can't pin point what it is. -
Hi All, Hoping for some advice as I have lost hope after about 30mins lol So the issue developed about 2 weeks ago when I moved it to wash. Moving in / out the driveway and sitting idle I could hear a very low constant beep noise, at first I thought it was the turbo timer but nope it's def not that. I have stuck my head all through out the dash around the drivers side, the best location is above the left knee around the steering column but I still can't locate it. It's a very low pitched beep and if you were sitting in the passenger seat you probably wouldn't hear it. It also was not present prior to hearing it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks I will check the CAS I must add it was a few weeks after the belt was done, not immediately after. Also been told exact same thing 89cal has mentioned so I will be checking that out shortly. -
Still available ?
