Hi Just wondering if anyone has a Standard throttle position senor lying around that i can buy? THanks

i was just going by what other people have said that works with the xf throttle body. I didnt think the standard one would work. I think i have lost the standard one, i have tried finding it but dont know where i put it. i'll have to keep hunting around, and see it would work.

i was looking at those billet ones but dont trust them. plus being 250 bucks or whatever they are, and could have the possiblity of getting a poorly made one could stuff everything up . Xf throttle body being 20 bucks, and knowing that they work. I dont think you can go wrong. Yes they were made in 1972 or whenever and from a shit car ( who cares). Just wiring issues at the moment but if i find the right information, its not going to be hard to have it sorted.

I can find out for you. he is doing 11.2 with it now though and has blown his gearbox.

my mate has a vl turbo with the 6boost manifold with a stock internal engine and a t66 turbo. The spool time is almost instant. Its farkin insane i have met kyle and he has showed me his manifolds and the merge collector on them is awesome. A+ quality and a top dude. Also Mark from godzilla motorsports that has a r32 gtr, that now i believe runs 8.34 has a 6boost manifold on his car. If ya looking at a manifold go check out 6boost first.

I have converted my skyline to manual and have obtained a TPS from a vl manual commodore which has only one connector( does not have the additional wire and connector as on the automatic vl) Just need to know how to splice in the existing skyline loom to the manual vl tps connector.

Hi guys Just wondering if anyone knows how to wire up the xf throttle body with a vl manual TPS My car being a auto originally i have two connectors. Just wanting to know which one do i use to the connect the TPS to it. Any diagrams or explanations or steps would be much appreciated. THanks

haha found the problem When i took my rear spoiler off i must of drop a nut in the actual boot and made its way to the boot lock and jammed it. My bloody luck i tell ya what. Only realised when i took the lock off this morning.

i have adjusted the hook and still no luck. The locker on the boot itself still wont click back in . might be in for a new one

mine did this when rolling up to a set of traffic lights in neutral it was the AAC valve. You can check this by temporarily disconnecting it. if ya idle doesnt fluctuate after disconnecting it, well theres ya problem i ended up putting on a sr20 aac valve that was apperantly the same and doesnt do it anymore.

Hi guys After getting a few parts put on my car, and requiring the power to be disconnected ( which it is still disconnected for the time being) My boot wont shut. Its like the little doover on the boot wont click back and lock. Is there power to the locker on the boot itself? Or its just shat itself.

it would fit on a t3 flange, but could run into problems with room and hitting shit on a low mount. some people have done it, but have required a spacer plate. But its going to be tight as down there. If you are going to fit it low mount, you will need a new intake pipe, oil line and an external wastegate. So that would mean getting you standard manifold changed to allow for the ext wastegate or a new manifold. Also your dump will need changing or a new one . So if i was in your position, which i have already done is: High mount manifold New wide mouth dump to cat New oil and water lines New intake pipe And get prepared to go through some tyres wooohooo!!!

dont you have off A and B settings for boost. you should only hear the clicking if your boost solenoid is sitting on something metal. As the clicking sound is the solenoid hitting it. Mines mounted to my strut tower at the moment, but i am moving it. What hoses have you got connected to where? on the boost solenoid there is 3 ports, with the port NC propbably doesnt have a fitting. Com goes to your wastegate No goes to a boost pressure source only Your blow-off valve should be connected to a vacuum/pressure source (your inlet manifold) then a hose coming from your inlet manifold to your pressure sensor. There probably wont be any pressure coming from your vacuum/pressure hoses at idle ( not sure) And you will only hear the clicking sound from your boost solenoid (if hitting against metal) when your under boost. You wont hear it at idle.

vacuum lines i have all sorted nismo 31 i did alot of reading, and i dont think the setup i had before was correct haha, could of been the reason it was playing funny buggers. I ended up ringing autobarn slacks creek and the chick there said she has 4 in the warehouse, so im getting somewhere. should have it next week.

looks like the only place to buy them seperate is nengun, which takes 20 days. Autobarn - i rang and they dont even have that part number on there system and cant get it apperantly. ISC performance - can only buy it if you purchase the intercooler kit. The supplier will not seperate. Is there any other options i can do, or any other water bottles that are smaller than standard that will fit with little adjusting.

The gtr ones, are they a straight fit in, or are they fairly easy to put in?

I have recently received my car back finally Now i have the fun of connecting up vacuum lines fuel lines etc. Also can i clear up that the blowby outlet off the rocker cover, does the hose go to the intake manifold. Gt30r id tag is - KE0106j 7001770 5014 i have to also purchase a smaller washer tank bottle because of my accelerator setup off the xf throttle body. Thinkin of getting one of the greddy washer bottles.

com - is wastegate no - goes to turbo, or if ya have an externally wastegated turbo with no fitting, goes to a boost pressure source ( before the throttle body of butterfly) i have just changed to an externally wastegated turbo so i have to change mine around and put another fitting on my boost solenoid.

yeah i did say earlier that the r31 cable works, but its resting slightly up against my washer bottle which i am trying to get it away from. i just dont want it to get jammed on the washer bottle. Where can i get one of theses greddy washer bottles from? im pretty sure alot of businesses could source them for me but who has them ready to purchase?
