Hi i have a turbo braided oil line for sale if anyone wants it. Its about 60 cm long approx. and looks in new condition. 80 bucks Thanks

Hi Guys after getting a custom made plenum and putting on a xf throttle body, i have problems with having my accerator fitting properly. If there is a possibility there is a smaller washer bottle from another car (one with two motors for front and rear) that fits in the same position as the standard one ( about half the size) everything will plan out very nicely. Also i have a turbosmart BOV and Turbosmart progate 48mm wastegate, and a AVC-R read all the books, still confused, just installed a custom made high mount exhaust manifold. Can anyone explain ( preferably by diagram) how to hook up all the vacuum lines from wastegate to AVC-R and BOV. Thanks

only problem the bov has been already been fitted just after the throttle body so it looks like running a alloy pipe from that side to the intake is my only option. But was just seeing how people have done their pipes.
-
Hey guys Just after some options to plumb in my bov back into the intake, which is repositioned over near my plenum. I have seen krazy or crazy's engine bay ( orange r33) with the polished alloy or steel pipe going across the radiator but was just seeing if there were any other options that i could look at. In my own mind i couldnt of cared less if it was plumbed in or not, but i then i dont want to get defected so. Also i have fitted a xf throttle body on a custom made plenum, and just to let people know the r31 accelerator cable is long enough and works. will have it on the road next week.

I am not a fan of truck drivers, i do respect them for driving long hours delivering goods to different states but driving like a tool and taking speed to stay awake is f**kin pathetic. the pic is one of the reasons i dont like them. the pic showed, is what happens when you are stopped at a set of traffic lights when they are RED, and a tip truck behind you doesnt see them or you. Resulting in a truck going 70kmh up your arse. My father who was in the driver seat went unconscious instantly, with the roof colliding with his head. I (so lucky) was able to witness (in the passenger seat) the whole flipping of the car twice then running into a resturant on the side of the road. I happened to have no cuts, no bruises and the bumper bar just missing my arm. Through the police, we found out that the driver of the truck, his excuse was he was unfamiliar with the area. FARKEN BULLSHIT. Thats when you should be MORE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.

bugger, haha i'll see what happens when i get my car back from the shop. had a hiflow on it previously and was fairly quiet. Was actually considering then to get a new exhaust with less turns in the pipes. but looking at what you have said i might wait and see what noise level i am on.

i am installing a gt30r sitting on a custom made high mount with 44mm turbosmart external wastegate and with a 3/or 3.5 " wide mouth dump im sure the level of noise will increase, but would it be worth while upgrading my 3" jasma exhaust? or power difference from another exhaust wouldnt be noticable? im pretty sure its the standard exhaust, but i have had the middle muffler removed.
-
were they relavtively at a low setting on your car? or were they around standard height? i wouldnt mind knowing if they are definitely height adjustable

its about 60 bucks roughly to have them transferred into someone elses name and both the disposer and acquirer has to sign the tranfer personalised plates application.

i was just going on what happened to me my airflow metre was close maxing out at 220rwkw which isnt too far away from 200rwkw and my injectors wer close to 90% duty cycle. even my 555cc injectors are at 60% when on 240rwkw Also was going from what other people have stated with the standard turbo that 12 psi was a safe limit on them but hey whack it up to 18psi and see how it goes, i have never tried it, and never will. And my utterly rubbish that i posted, was my opinion, people can take it onboard or have the choice of not to.
-
this would be my path i would take if you plan to have 200rwkw. aftermarket ecu. Power fc are one of the most reputable ecus around. some people have made it to 200rwkw on the standard turbo, but with being a bush bearing with ceramic wheel i wouldn't risk it. limit on the standard turbo is about 12psi. Also i would consider updating your injectors as they will get close to running on max duty cycle and also your air flow metre Turbo- pretty much the best option and to retain standard manifold and not resorting to an externally wastegated turbo would be a GCG highflow turbo being ball bearing and having steel wheels, you can push the boost up to a greater limit then ya standard turbo and will easily hit 200rwkw. GCG highflows are capable of seeing 260rwkw. So my opinion if i was in your shoes i would look into ECU Split dump - less restriction injectors AFM Highflow turbo And then possibly blow off valve for better control and no leak. there you will have 200rwkw and also and then some if you wanted.

how far are you wanting to go with you car? how much power do you want? what are you using it for? this will determine what is going to be the best option as terms with cost efficiency for future modifications and your car running at its optimum level. I remember, i started with a 121rwkw with an auto. Its now manual and will have 300rwkw when it goes on the dyno again.

Also have bought 30m of red heat wrap for hoses and etc. Might of bought a little too much but i wont run out. after buying the stuff i forgot to ask the guy thats doing my car if he had these items and he did and cheaper #$%$#!! Plenum is still left to go with xf throttle body. -

oh ok, i will have to wait till i get the car back before i know what the number is on the plate. so hopefully it will be this week when i get it back, and everything is done. i havent got a pic of the manifold by itself but will have one next week. i will be purchasing some heat wrap for my power steering hose and other hoses that are coming close to the manifold and turbo. the heat film you are talking about, is it come in the form of some sort of spray or like a glad wrap etc? Also be getting a heat shield if it will fit for the turbo. -

heres a pic of my new manifold with a gt30r turbo and 45mm turbosmart wastegate Plenum is still in the process of getting fabricated should be finished this week -
update on my car , havent been able to do much for 2007 (been a shit year), have had some issues with my licence and etc. haha i am in the middle now of rebuilding a rb25 engine with ACL forged 20 thou pistons, race bearings, and spool rods. Slight port and polish with performance valve springs. CAr is in the shop at the moment getting these parts installed and made custom high mount with a gt30r turbo and turbosmart 44mm gate. Custom plenum with xf throttle body. car will be finished with these parts on the weekend, then just a matter of putting in the radiator and connecting everything up. Will put rebuilt engine in when i have sometime. So i am probably be looking next year to have a go at drifting on the track.

R33 Nismo 300km/h Cluster, Plus Standard One
bazr33 replied to Bubble's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
can the nismo cluster be used in a series 1 33. (just unsure if there is anything different with the connections from a series 2) and would you post it to brisbane? -
i would just get bigger injectors, as they are pretty cheap and don't have to worry about it later on if ya winde up the boost. i was also happy to max out my stock injectors, but then wouldn't be happy if my injectors failed and blowed my engine up. have you upgraded the dump pipe? also would consider upgrading the afm aswell, as that will start to max out around 210rwkw. Also wouldn't mind knowing what power are you wanting to achieve?
-
to run 180-190rwkw, i would want to have a aftermarket ecu or piggyback unit to keep everything under control. I would also look at bigger injectors, as at 200rwkw you start to get close to 100% duty cycle, and possibly a better afm. (depending on what ecu you get, you might not require one). if i was in your situation i would buy Aftermarket ecu electronic boost controller (if you haven't already got one) free flowing 3" full exhaust. 550 injectors But yeah the tuner is right by saying that a hiflow r33 turbo should be able to run more than 11psi. As the standard actuator on mine was able to hold 16psi. with the mods i stated above, and a couple more, with my hiflow turbo i pushed 240rwkw on 16psi.
