  1. i have 555cc injectors, a nismo fpr and walbro fuel pump and will be chasing 300rwkw so i will soon see if everything goes to plan
  2. i am chasing 300rwkw also but in the middle of rebuilding a 25 to help with reliability have most of the gear, just a matter of having the block bored and honed. Head lightly ported and polished and cleaned up. then put in the acl 20 thou pistons, acl main and bigend bearings spool rods, and performance valve springs. will be asking the dude i am taking my engine to, as to what cams he would recommend and go from there. As i would like to go past 300rwkw later on. a gt30r will be hanging on the side of the engine, but will more than likely replacing it with something bigger later. Will let ya know how i go.

  4. Hey mate just out of curiousity, do you have a pic of the exhaust and would you consider posting it?
  5. Hey guys after the above, even though i have an 3" exhaust system, it does have a big bend near the end of the exhaust system, and would like a more flowier (if its a word) system. so if anyone has one they want to flogg off, let us know. Pm me Thanks
  6. farkin nice one bruuvvaa!!! Congrats on the time, woohoo
  7. i will post later the ID of the gt30r turbo, when i get it back (as its with the car at the shop) but what i know at the present time is it has a .70 compressor housing and .82 turbine housing. rated 500hp, came from GCG/honeywell. Exhaust manifold is going to be similar to extreme manifolds one, where the ext wastegate will be situated underneath the turbo, and plenum will be similar to the plazmaman item. Car will be taken to godzilla motorsport for a tune, and want to see 18psi running through the turbo, for the short term. I don't want to, (if i can help it) keep the internally standard engine in, as its in top condition, and don't want to damage it. So later on down the track it will be up for sale. Also will be looking at upgrading my exhaust system, even though its 3", i think its the standard item. Anyway will keep yas posted.
  8. Not that i know much of the turbos you have, but if you were thinking of having the ceramic changed to steel, the price to do it (from what i have heard) is bullshit. ya might aswell find a pair of turbos that are steel wheeled to start with, as it will be more cost effective So yeah i would be pissin those ones ya have off, and going the 2871's.
  9. Hi guys just seeing if anyone would like to make comments about the previous post about my forged engine. Also considering i'll be making not too bad power when i get my car back, and as nytsky stated about purchasing a new clutch. What clutch would still be suitable for the street, and occassional drags, and for a reasonable price?
  10. i would like to buy a quality oil air seperator for my r33 or does anyone know of a place that make these, they would recommend? Thanks Barret
  11. depending on how much power your wanting, what your going to be doing with it, and how far your wanting to go with it? a turbo that will bolt straight up to your std manifold and dump is going to be a ball bearing hi-flow r33 turbo, which GCG can do for the cost around 1750.. which retains same spool time if not quicker and capable of 270rwkw. considering what boost you will be running, i would consider lifting some of those restrictions, such as dump and exhaust system if you haven't already done that. after that would be a decent front mount intercooler, and an electronic boost controller to help keep boost levels under control. That will most probably entertain you for a while, then its onto a aftermarket ecu, (upgrade AFM, but will depend on what ECU you get as some have inbuilt MAP sensors, which you want need a AFM anymore). Then fuel pump, injectors, BOV. You will most probably be capable of the turbos limit at that stage, and close to your engines safe limit aswell, depending on your tuner. those mods listed will be an easy 5 grand, so i hope your mechanically minded, or willing to have a crack at doing some of teh mods yourself as it will save alot of money for someone else doing it for you. Also will give you an understanding of everything, and if you encounter problems you will be able to determine what it will be, or more of an indea anyway. Anyway alot of reading for you to do, most enquiries will be available through the search button, as they would have been answered to death already. To give you an idea, i remember starting where you are, i wasn't planning on going to far with it as i though it was fast to start with (i had a gemini for a first car). i got hooked i now have 240rwkw, am currently rebuilding an engine and have already spent 14 grand plus on my car.
  12. I have found the Apexi AVC-R to work well on my car and paid 500 like 2 years ago roughly brand spanker, so im guessing they would of gone down abit.
  13. So a question i would like to know GTAAAH is, knowing what you know now, would you still recommend the JJR coilpacks? just i will be looking at some coilpacks soon, and heading up the alley of 400rwhp+ with a forged motor.
  14. i bought acl forged 20thou pistons for my r33 knowing of a couple of cars that are running these and acl having over 20 years of experience was enough reassurance for me. from what i was aware of acl and cp are two of the top brands of pistons out there today apart from weisco. hopefully soon will find out how they go.
  15. still haven't had my car returned to me yet, but have been making progress with my engine rebuild. thanks for your comments about parts, and have been keeping my eye out for them. For my forged engine, i also would like some opinions on parts and what power to expect with parts being used on previous engine (PFC, custom ex and inlet manifolds, gt30r turbo, and fuel supporting mods) I have : ACL rod and main bearing kit, ACL 20thou Forged pistons performance valve springs Spool rods Retaining std cams, cam gears, valves. engine gasket kit head and block will be going away soon to have machined, bored, balanced etc
  16. around 400 for a tune, but will most probably depend on what has to be done to get everything perfect, and how the car is before-hand. best bet is, as ya said give him a buzz.
  17. probably havent seen it, cause its in an industrial area anyway ya wont be disappointed.
  18. another tick for godzilla motorsport have been to a number of tuners, and godzilla have been the stand out of them all and specializes in PFC and other aftermarket ecus. Tunes are performed with laptop software ( none of this handheld shit) to get the ultimate tune right through the rev range. proof: Mark's 1000hp 8 sec r32 gtr. obviously shows that mark knows his shit and knows what hes doing.
  19. on ebay start bid of 100 bucks
