is it possible (even though the wastegate has a 8psi spring) that it could be running a higher psi? cause i remember on my internal wastegated stock turbo i could run 16psi on the standard 7 psi spring.

yeah i have heard that splitfires aren't needed for 300rwkw, maybe if your going 350-400rwkw. waste of money. good condition stock coils would be up to the task.

the ticking sound will definately be your avcr, if you have the solenoid bolted onto anything metal. i have mine bolted onto my strut tower and when boost comes on, i hear ticking sound. Nothing to worry about In a way, it says to me that its doing its job. If you don't want the ticking sound, put some rubber or foam etc. between where you bolted it onto and the solenoid.

OIL CATCH TANK WITH FILTER - $70 - comes with 1.2m hose, clamps, drainage bolt, 800ml can & filter. (unbaffled) The exact one supplied by Performance-Wise Haven't had the chance to put it on, and couldn't think of where to put it. Engine bay is getting tight. Brand new, only been taken out of wrapping to have a squiz.!!!

yeah it has been by the help of kyb suspension, but want to have the wheels tucked in the guards abit. the car will be going from 300hp to 400hp shortly

getting more mods done at the moment, hopefully get some coilover suspension to drop it abit

anyone put an xf throttle body onto their rb25det with a custom or aftermarket plenum just curious with the accerlerator cable what people have done? and any pics?

Hi guys i had a search and most posts, related to what tps to use as the xf tps goes the opposite direction. To the people that have put the xf throttle body on a r33: I curious as to what the go is with the accelerator cable, if the standard one can be still used or is it better off getting another one? i have a rb30 tps and waiting for the xf throttle body to arrive in the post. Im guessing theres different hoses i will need to get to hook up?? any pics that anyone has would be great. Also update on mods, i have got a gt30r turbo now, and a 45mm turbosmart progate, which will be sitting on a similar style manifold as extremes. I will also be getting a similar style plazmaman plenum made and a widemouth dump pipe. Im in the middle of biddin on tomei poncams so hopefully that goes to plan. Engine will still be stock until it blows. Will be hopin to make close to 300rwkw this should be all getting put on and ready to drive within 2 weeks. Been eagerly waiting to get my car on the road for 6 months now.

Thats fair enough then, i was just going by, what kyle had said, and looked obvious to me. But if stats are looking the other way then good stuff. Has there been stats as oppose to low mount and high mount with turbo bag or heatshield?? Also engine temps as oppose to engine bay??
