  1. Plazmaman plenum the go for sure, they have had nothing but good news about them to date. They have also been known to have the turbo spooling 400rpm quicker then a greddy. As tested on the gt35r turbo. Also have the advantage of being a straight drop on the standard runners, and has the outlet for the iac. Although they cost 1200 bucks, but all ya have to worry about is just amending ya intercooler pipes, and possibly throttle body selection. The setup i am going for is similar style as the extreme exhaust manifold ( with a 45mm pro-gate turbosmart external wastegate) and a similiar style plenum to the plazmaman. The guy that is doing the work on my car for me, has currently worked on a 1000hp skyline, and is enough proof to me that his shit actually works. But yeah extreme manifolds look awesome and i reckon plazmaman for the plenum. Would be awesome combination.
  2. i was going to get a low mount manifold made by 6boost, for my gt3540 IW that i had, he said it costs abit more than a high mount, and its not worth wild. As it would be tight as F#$k and the amount of heat being produced in a tight area. Even if you have to pull the turbo out at some stage would be a pain in the arse. Direct quote from Kyle (6boost) Keep in mind that in standard form, the factory manifold is only about 4" thick, and the turbo flange points straight at the block. The only manifolds that you can get that will fit in the standard location are those poxy stainless jobs that are absolutely horrid. I can't build you anything in the stock position, and can't see why you'd bother to, as there is no room to fit any type of decent collector. My low mount would be something similar to the one pictured in my thread here:http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=107446 I highly recommend you don't go low mount, they are very bad for transfering heat into the engine bay and make working on the engine a pain in the ass. However if you must have a low mount, the price is $1200 inc, and comes with studs, nuts, turbo gasket and lifetime warranty against cracking, defect and failure.

  10. i am willing to pay 30 bucks, for just the clutch fan i am just after one, because a performance joint started to file off mine ages ago, so the intercooler pipes wouldn't hit. bloody idiots. the fan still is all good, but yeah wouldn't mind my fan like the way it was.

  12. Hi Just curious as to whether anyone knows what type of hose is used going from the power steering reservoir to the pump. as a guy tried to tell me that it is high pressure hose. And i don't think it is. Possibly going from the pump to the rack. Any help is appreciated. I have moved my reservoir in different position so thats the only reason i am asking.

  15. yeah i dont know what the problem was in the end cause i changed turbo, well still in the process of i believe the reason of why it was not doing the surging at 12 but at 18psi, is that air was being pushed through the front of the turbo into the sensitive z32 afm im pretty sure when i ran the turbo at 12psi, is that i still had a standard afm, which probably didnt pick up the air being pushed through as much. things you could try, is putting a stronger spring in ya bov, putting a 90 degree bend in ya intake pipe so if air is being forced back through to the afm, it wont be as forceful?? or relocating your afm after the TPS, or run a aftermarket computer that doesnt require afm. if you figure it out please let us know
