  1. not alot of ppl have put this turbo setup on their cars, and gone with braided oil and water lines ????
  2. Hi guys after alot of discussion i had with the gt3540, i ended up selling it as the rear housing was going to be too big for my liking on the street. So changing my mind every 5 secs, i went with the gt30r turbo, having it high mounted, wide mouth dump, 44mm external wastegate. With ppl that "have" done this setup, whats the go with putting on a braided water return line (runs from the back oof the block) ? Can it be cut and a connector go onto the existing water line, or does it have to be removed altogether and put a whole new braided line on, hopefully this makes sense. Just looking at the water line, im trying to figure out how ya get the friggin line off? Also, ppl that have gt30r with the .82 rear, what power have you made on your r33, ( i was going through the rb25det upgrade page, but most ppl dont specify what rear housing they have, and just want to know if ppl are making it close to the 400rwhp. Also if you have pics of your high mount setup with this turbo, and any altercations along the way, that you had to deal with? I have all fuel mods done, FMIC, AVCR, Z32 afm, 3" exhaust, with hiflow cat. Also considering cams later on after this has been done Thanks
  3. i notice compressor surge on my r33 with a plain bearing hiflow, Front wheel was off a isuzu truck. Old skool design To4 what appeared to be happening, is that the turbo was generating way too much air that what it should of, at start of spool phase. This was at 5psi, and then we believe the bov started to pulsate, pushing air through the plumb back pipe into the intake, then too my afm. The afm recognised more amount of air, getting pushed through, so it dumped more fuel into the engine. I didn't notice this surging when i have the standard airbox on with my standard afm, as it mighten of not of been as sensitive as the z32afm, and the apexi pod filter being able to suck ??? I didn't get around to fix this problem, but i believe it was either relocating the afm to another position, change the bov to atmo, or putting a stronger spring in my BOV. Then again these ideas could not of worked either. I have now changed turbo setup, so see what happens. (also going to put a sharp bend in for my intake pipe)
  4. hey guys, looking to buy a q45 throttle body that i want to fit onto my r33 gtst Thanks Pm Me
  5. wwooooohhhoooo, haha about time this dyno happened, i heard talk about a dyno last year but never happened unfortunately i wont be able to get my car on, as its in bits, and only get my licence back 3 days before the 16th. definately coming out to watch, see if i can get some mates to come out. Looks like an awesome line up of cars going on the dyno.
  6. metal intake pip has been sold
  7. it is a split dump pipe, and looking at 350 roughly at the moment
  8. unfortunately im still going to be using the engine, but if i decide to change, i'll keep it as a spare. Can't afford to keep it off the road at the moment.
  9. still have the dump , turbo, oil line and a standard manifold all to go, (turbo is on ebay) the intake pipe has gone unfortunately, but the guy hasnt replied back in two days, after being sold, so see what happens let us knw if ya interested in the other parts yeah i am in brisbane westside.
  10. Near New GT3540 Ford XR6T ball bearing turbo with internal wastegate This turbo has done less than 5000kms and is in perfect order This turbo is rated at 700hp On a standard RB25DET engine, reports of 400rwhp plus at the wheels can be achieved - on a modified engine?? The turbo was bought and never fitted due to a change in plans. I have purchased another engine and require the money for this first. 1200
  11. yeh no gearbox, as im still using it possibly keeping my engine now, due to time havin my car off the road.
  12. thanks for the offer Noel, but might just wait abit, as its been put back on ebay again. 9 just the turbo though i would take an offer of 1000 at this point of time, but yeah not 800. i will take your advice into consideration, as its on a couple of sites at the moment, and will look into puttin on ford and holden sites
  13. ok only selling the turbo itself now 1200
  14. hey guys, i am dropping the price on this to 1500 i am wanting to get my new parts as soon as i can, if i dont get this price for this kit, i will just put it on my car.
  15. i actually dont have a dyno sheet, as it didnt go onto my car but its a ford XR6 turbo, great condition didn't get a chance to put on my car, as changing plans with my car.
  16. i didnt end up getting pics connected up unfortunately. If i did they would of been the first pics up, cause it would of shown how tidy it looks and how easy it is to install. Its more time consuming getting the stupid rubber intake off for this apexi intake pipe that comes with both silicon hoses , lowest i will go is 150 including postage at the moment, as i have interested ppl from other sites.
  17. hi guys just letting you know i will sell for 150 including to postage
  18. this intake pipe definately fits a standard turbo and standard afm or a Z32 afm as most of you are aware they are exactly the same size. The plumb back pipe has to be modified a little bit, as the nozel on the intake pipe is in a slightly different position, but its easy done. and also you just have to run a blow by hose from your left tappet cover to the nozel shown in my second pic piece of piss, and looks tidier and no need to worry about the rubber hose suckin in, and a nice induction noise
  19. as stated above great condition gt3540 XR6 Turbo done 3000kms, maybe less, T3 Flange price is 1200 changing turbo setup and possibly engine. Pm me if your interested
  20. changing setup now, hahaha after all those posts it will just be a hassle for me and too much stress on my stock engine. if it was the .82 or smaller, i would of been sweet. going something bit smaller, still going high mount though, but just different turbo
  21. i just got my gt3540r internal gated turbo in the mail today, and found out that its a 1.06 rear housing. does anyone have this turbo on their r33, plus if any more pics that yous have would be great. I am changing my mind like i change my jocks. I have made my decision final and i am gettin a custom high mount made, with a wide mouth dump, and intercooler pipes changed to miss the turbo. This will all be down in the next 2 and a half weeks. Also like to thank you guys with the pics you have showed me
  22. well you can always have a spare hahaha!!! yeah, it took me a while to get a new turbo.
