  8. i have the gt3540 going onto my r33 and was going to do the rb25/30, but im going to wait and see how it goes on the rb25 i was going to buy this for the combo rb30 bottom end from series 2, ( Speak to MIT16 on calaisturbo.com.au) s2 block that has been honed, decked, and had the grub screws on the crank done, very very good nick. Its also on the std bore size still. There was over $250 in work done you can have the lot for $200 if interested .........cheers brett Ps im in toowoomba.... ph 0408305170 Brad from spool imports has a rb25 head with plenum for 590, and can get it all cleaned up cut valves, face valves shave head blah blah etc for a cheap price. So its all new. Also depends if ya want to keep the vct or not, but if ya dont want vct, he can have all the galleries welded up etc. Brad also has a package for rods and pistons, so it would be good to speak to him ( Spoolup is his name on this forum, or www.spoolimports.com ) rb26 or rb30 head gasket r33 rb26dett oil pump and water pump Buy the jun crank collar for the smaller diameter crank of the rb30 ?? I guess you will be getting a new exhaust manifold ( speak to kyle 6boost off calaisturbo.com.au, he is most probably on here aswell) Then its getting the block and crank balanced, bored out for the pistons, putting it in the car, hooking up all the wiring ECU There will be other minor things that you will have to get, but hopefully i have said all the basic stuff to get it all going. But people to speak that i thought were helpful and know what they are talking about are LTHLRB, Sydneykid, Cubes, Spoolup There are alot of ppl on here that have done it, but there just a couple of ppl that i know who have.

  16. Well i wont need the head gasket, cause i have a tomei one 1.5mm At the moment all i have to offer is 900, as i can get Head with plenum $590. And to have it converted to non VCT ( weld up the oil gallery, weld and modify the water jacket, then surface the head, cut all the valve seats, face all the valves, , vacuum tested, acid washed ) $350 Is yours converted to non VCT?
  17. how much ya sellin the head for
  18. Hi Selling my RB25DET Engine out of my R33 Great condition, has been compression tested and had 150 over all cylinders Was originally powered behind a automatic, till about 2005 when it was converted to manual. has roughly around 130,000 ks on the clock, and has a realitively easy life. Only reason for sale as i have bought a gt3540r turbo, and i am going to build a 25/30 engine for it, so it helps with lag issues Plus i didnt really want to put my rb25det engine under a fair bit of pressure, with full boost comes on at 4500rpm. Great engine for you r33, or silvia conversion or any conversion that you are thinkin of , whatever. You won't be disappointed. It will just be the engine itself, plenum, minus 555cc injectors (as im going to use them), loom and accessories. My offer to sell this engine is $1800
  19. Hey my decision has come down to this Rb25det head with rb30 bottom end Rb25 head is being converted to non vct Rb30 block has been honed and decked. still has std bore at the moment, and will be balanced aswell Crank will be balanced, with cp pistons and spool rods. I'll be selling my rb25det engine, minus loom, fuel reg, injectors. It will just be the engine itself with the plenum. This will be a while to do and hopefully be close to finish around june july.
  20. last offer on the split dump $420 nego.
  21. last offer on these 200 dollars
  22. im actually looking at the conversion, and doing it myself ( over a long period of time haha) and out of the information i got from it was quite useful, and went from 265 pages down to 1 page of what i need to know. good thing to do at what URAS said was to read the posts of the ppl that actually know what they are saying and what you find useful I know you are going to be skippin quite alot of some pages and is time consuming, but the build is time consuming aswell. Plus on the thread, ppl might state how to convert and possibly go the long way about it, go cost effective way, or be expensive as shit. Depends on how much power you want in the end. And what parts you plan on using. But i do get what your saying how there is alot of shit on the thread, convos that go off topic, and ppl that dont know what they want.
