i was going to put in a bosch 040 pump to start with, but when i pulled out my standard fuel pump, noticed that the bosch wouldnt of fit and would of had to make a new bracket for it. couldn't of been bothered with that. walbros are pretty much a direct fit, and i used the filter off my standard fuel pump onto the walbro, haven't had any problems and have ran the car right down til it was empty. Not sure if its true, but have heard that some bosch pumps dont like running when theres a quarter of a tank left. Wouldn't of bothered me anyway. And with the walbro i might run a direct relay to the battery to give it a consistent 12 volts.

i got the bushes from driveline services in Archerfield, Brisbane QLD The front pair for 51 bucks They are called polytuff Suspension bushes Part number: RR5255k i found that a couple of places were charging ridiculus amounts for the bushes aswell, ranging up to 110 bucks.

looks like im added to the list of scratched driver window on my r33 gtst the even worse thing is i got tinting done and now it has scratched a little of my tint how exciting. Even though it sounds a bit dodgy, but would just getting some cotton bud and gluing it to the old fury bracket guide thing. Cause forking out 100 bucks for these little things is crap. Anyhow let us know if anyone can find them.

Hi Guys My front right castor road bush is split and leaking silicone shit! haha I have bought the front pair of bushes, which dont need to be press fitted. Just wondering ppl that have taken the standard r33 gtst bushes out if they are hard to do? Do they have to be pressed out? Just had quote from ppl today and they are charging like 130 bucks to do it . I had a go the other day trying to get the nut off, but ended up snapping the bloody socket. Atleast i know something on my car isn't falling off in a hurry. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Barret

Hey guys i was going to go with 101 motorcafe, but i saw these guys on boostcruising. specializing in all model apexi power fc laptop tuning.....(r32,33,34 gtr.all sr20s,all rb25s) motec, haltec ,microtech etc etc... also able to hold club dyno days.. heaps of room and no noise problems...even at night... GODZILLA MOTORSPORT. 1-20 INGELSTON RD. WAKERLY.4154. Ph.38904488 , 0418783262. My car with the stock turbo at 12psi made 269hp at chiptorque. I recently put on my hiflow turbo and also walbro fuel pump. I found that it was maxing out quickly through each gear when i took it too test and tune. Still on standard afm and injectors, standard engine, powerfc, exhaust, AVCR, walbro fuel pump, hiflow r33 turbo, made 306hp ( roughly 228rwkw) at the wheels. This was made on there laptop software, which is able to unlock extra tuning functions then what a handheld controller would. I have been to a fair few performance joints, and i honestly can say, these guys are at the top of my list. I'm definately going back to get my injectors, z32afm, and turbosmart regulator put in, and winde it up to 18psi. Anyone here that are wanting a quality dyno tune, experience and great service. Look at Godzilla motorsport first before going anywhere else. Very Impressed.

Hey guys I recently have put on my hiflow r33 turbo i took my car down the quarter at willowbank two weeks ago and found out my car was maxing out early through each gear . I have been told the airflow characteristics are quite different to the standard turbo. Which the explanation for the car feeling restricted at high rpm. Currently running on 12psi, same as when i had the stock turbo on the stock turbo was pushing 201rwkw. When i take my car into 101, im goin to see if i can push it to 15psi, or a safe psi level that will hopefully get me close to 300rwhp. My hiflow turbo is plain bearing, steel wheels, 270thrust bearing, been recently rebablanced and cleaned up. In good condition. Not blowing smoke or any nasty noises. Ppl that have gone down this path, have you noticed the same thing? Will i get close to 300rwhp ( depending on the tuners i guess, and teh engine) Mods are" PFC FMIC AVCR Walbro fuel pump ( recently put in) CES Racing 3" split dump to cat 3" exhaust Hiflow Cat 2nd Muffler been taken out KYB Suspension lowered king springs. Turbosmart blowoff valve. Hiflow r33 turbo Any info is appreciated, let yous know on thursday of what happens .

Race Seats Cheap
bazr33 replied to teazn_r33's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
so they have been in your r33 so they pretty much bolt straight up? or do ya have to get them made to fit? Thanks -
i didnt get the turbo hiflowed i bought it hiflowed off a mate turbo australia in darra did the hiflow as i found out the turbo is a plain bearing turbo with a 270 thrust bearing, i believe theres two 270 thrust bearings in it to make it compact, for no slippage. There was a little bit of play in the turbo when i bought it, and it cost me 200 to get it rebalanced. At the moment my car needs a tune, because of more air bbeing pushed through. But the hiflow cost me 800 bucks. And from noticing the difference from the stock turbo, i reckon i have close to 300hp at the wheels.

Hey guys, turbo has been off the car for a week now wrapped up i will go as low as 450 bucks Also the turbo has made 201rwkw and have the dyno sheet. will post at buyers expense, or local pickup is fine Thanks

pfc was tuned with the stock turbo at chiptorque Made 201rwkw at 12 psi And pretty much just have put the hiflow on, and havent changed anything. I have heard from matty spry, that will having a hiflow, i should be right with using the standard afm, as im not goin to be goin bigger turbo later on or cams etc. And that he can tune it too it , hopefully .

I have pulled this turbo off, and was amazed with, having no shaft play at all max psi that was run was 12psi, and was only for a short time Was a automatic originally, but was also changed to manual Most of its life was run on stock boost Pics i will be able to get soon. Great turbo, Price 500 ono, comes with actuator and elbow Thanks Barret

Hey guys Recently put on my hiflow r33 turbo i have power fc AVCR FMIC Hiflow cat 3" exhaust 12 psi Hiflow turbo ( plain bearing, 270thrust bearing) I havent had the car tuned after install of hiflow, wasnt sure if i need to or not I did have 205 tyres on at the time of the test and tune, but when i went down, it felt like each gear was maxing out. I was nearly in 5th gear at the end of the strip. i changed the boost back to 10 i think it was fine, felt a bit slow, but it went right to 6000rpm, whateva my shift light was set at. Will the power fc need to be tuned, for the hiflow? Letting more air in? need more fuel? AFM maxing out? I did a 14.2 was the best at 100.31mph 60ft 2.2269, Reaction was .552 With the help of little bit of wheel spin Not sure whats doin Any help is appreciated

just for some information i just bought a hiflow for 800 it did have a bit of play in it, and it is plain bearing turbo. it cost me around 200 bucks for the rebalance, and 270 thrust bearing. not sure what size wheels are in the turbo, but on my stock turbo i ran 12 psi and had 201rwkw. with the hiflow i notice a significant difference in power, and spool time. and when it winds up now, it sounds like a truck. i ran a 14.089 with the stock turbo, but it was only my 4th time out there and i didnt get my starts as good as i would like i'm hoping to rund some low 13's next time i get out there and put the boost up to 15psi.

Hey guys I am just looking for where to find the fuel pumps resistor location ? apperantly controlls the voltage needed to run the fuel pump i have heard that when installing the walbro, it needs a consistent 12volts, all the time this resistor gizmo will restrict my fuel pump from running 12 volts all the time. if anyone knows what this looks like and where its located, would be good. Thanks Barret
